Umah Shama

I had an amazing stay honestly, even better than I expected. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, extremely clean and very well managed. The staff are wonderful: kind, professional, attentive and always willing to adapt to your schedule. The food was delicious, and the team constantly checked that everything was okay. A truly wonderful stay that I would happily recommend!

My only suggestion would be to add some lighting between the main road and the villa, especially for solo female travellers returning at night.

Absolutely loved my stay at Umah Shama. The hotel has such a special / relaxing feeling. The bed is super comfy. I will be coming back to try the different room :)

Beautiful villa and an absolutely wonderful team. The staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Every morning, two or three team members came to prepare and beautifully present breakfast, followed by cleaning and tidying the villa. Everything was very well organised and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only real downside is the new construction directly attached to the villa, which is not visible in the current Booking.com photos. It creates a direct view over part of the private pool and can also cause construction noise. For families looking for complete privacy, this is important to know. We specifically chose this villa because the photos suggested there was no overlooking, so the current situation was disappointing. The Booking.com photos should be updated to reflect this.
