Çırağan's Omnia Hotel

Great location in old town on European side. I had a small single room.

On my second day, at 15:00 a ventilator which had a duct running through my room started working and stayed on right through the third night. I had to use noise cancellation Air-pods to get sleep that night, and their batteries ran down at 6am. No-one came to turn off the ventilator until next morning. This was NOT an acceptable reaction to a situation which should have been remedied much sooner.

Location to waterfront, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, bakeries, pharmacy and stores. Cobble stone streets and 24 hr life was a bonus

The smell of the room, was like a bad sewer drain on arrival as well as the lobby was of stale cigarette smoke and musk. If you are sensitive to smells this might be too much for you. We slept with the windows open on the 1st nite. There were socks from a prior guest and far too much dust and cobwebs under the bed Heat is intermittent.

Fabulous location; 2 mins walk to Bosphorus and the bridge. I actually was waken up every day with the beautiful sound of the seagulls 😍 Next to a bakery with the smell of bread which I like a lot ♥️ and a lot of cafés and restaurants nearby to experience local food and drinks. Plus more luxury ones nearby. Bayram bey didn’t know English still he tried so much to be helpful in any way possible. He was a kind and great guy. The music in the lobby was peaceful and lovely 🕊️✨🎗️ I’ll definitely come back.

I asked the manager for an extension of my stay and he announced that I can stay 2 more days and I agreed, but the next day, only one day before my first booking dates ends he msged me and said that it was booked! I was forced to pay more than double to another property since it was a late call and was too close to the New Year!

Despite its very central location, the hotel is on a calm street, and our room faced the inner space of the building, which was even calmer. Once we turned off the music that was 24 hours on in the lobby, we enjoyed the silence a lot. The communication with the staff was smooth, and our every question was answered quickly. Check-in was also very smooth.

The room we stayed had a small bathroom, and a very small shower. When we turned the AC on, the room had a bit of a gasoline smell.
