Dogwood - Unit 603

I liked the view of the pond outside and sitting on the porch in the morning. It was very peaceful and quiet. The bed was a king and very comfortable. The room was spacious. And when we did have trouble entering the apartment, the property manager came over and was a delightful woman who fixed the locks at 10pm at night.

It was extremely difficult to find the apartment at night, as the area is very dark. Also, the numbering system is off. The unit we had, 603, comes after 601 and before 602. So we kept driving past 602, and didn't see anything. Finally, we parked and got out of the car and could see in a much smaller type font the number 603, right after 601. To have this out of sequence is very confusing, especially when people are exhausted after traveling all day, and you can't see it. Area is very dark. Also, the room did have a musty smell. It was a bit rustic, but in a very wooded, pretty area.

The view of the lake was amazing. It was the perfect getaway for the work trip.
