Two Bed Serviced Apartment by London Docklands

It was very cosy and spacious. It came with everything we could need. It’s located very close to the DLR and Elizabeth lines so it was easy to get around London. The area felt safe and calm. Security was also always positioned at the bottom of the building.

The bathroom could be given a lick of paint as it didn’t match the rest of the property in terms of cleanliness. There was also a mattress in the wardrobe of one of the bedrooms, we put this underneath the bed but it should have been moved prior to our stay as it was blocking the wardrobe and hard to get out.

Die unmittelbare Nähe zu Bahnstationen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war sehr angenehm. Das Personal und der Checkin waren ebenfalls sehr einfach und stets bemüht uns zu helfen und entgegenzukommen. Wir hatten in den ersten beiden Tagen Probleme mit der Heizung (die Wärme ließ sich nicht einstellen und als dieses Problem behoben wurde, hatte der Boiler/ Durchlauferhitzer in der Nacht plötzlich laute Geräusche gemacht.) Das Stay Capital Team hat uns aber recht schnell geholfen und kleine Heizkörper zur Verfügung gestellt und am nächsten Tag einen Heiztechniker in die Unterkunft geschickt. Wir sind dem Team wirklich sehr dankbar und können uns nur für die super Betreuung aussprechen :)

Die Unterkunft ist ein wenig abgenutzt gewesen. Im Bad war nur Duschgel zur Verfügung und die Fliesenwand im der Baddusche war schimmelig (im dem Fugen war der Schimmel zu sehen). Die Matratzen waren ebenfalls durchgelegen und uneben. Die Küche war zwar gut ausgestattet, aber der Geschirrspüler ist nicht zu 100%ig funktionstüchtig, sodass das Geschirr nicht richtig sauber wurde (wir haben das meiste Geschirr immer nochmal zusätzlich per Hand gewaschen).

Great location for our needs and great value for money. The apartment itself was a very comfortable size for 3 people. Communication from staff during check in, check out and during our stay was excellent.

The apartment facilities you could tell are getting a little run down, kettle was a bit leaky, chairs a little wobbly, etc. but nothing major. Sheets and towels were clean but the floors were a bit dirty.

I had a difficult experience checking- in into the property. In addition, this led to an extremely horrible uncounted with the receptionist at the building. Despite having informed the host of the expected time of arrival at the property, there was nobody at the office to check us in and let us into the property. I was travelling with my family, in which 2 of them were elders. I called multiple times to get a hold of the host and the office, however no one answered our calls. I call many times, and when I had finally gotten a hold of someone, I was told that it would take 15-30 mins for someone to arrive at the property and to get the keys to get into the apartment. My family waited in the lobby of the apartment but were kicked out in a very unprofessional manner. I was threatened that the police would be called if we ever sat in the lobby again. Nonetheless, we got our keys within 30 mins and went into the apartment. I don’t think I would ever book here ever again because of this encounter.
