Spacious duplex apartment with rare outdoor terrace in a Perfect location in the Old Town.

Some water damage from the floods of 2024 but clean and bright apartment.

The apartment was in a great central location. It was spacious and mostly provided everything we needed. The terrace provides a nice space outdoors to sit with good views. The host responded well when contacted about issues we had.

The property is a little rough around the edges, with things that could be fairly easily fixed or rectified eg missing 'nosing' on steps, a cracked mug that leaked, broken light shade in bathroom. The kitchen states it is fully equipped but the oven was broken and a two ring electric hob placed on top (which was noisy when in use). This limits what you can cook. When we stayed there were renovations taking place at an adjoining house and one night there was a very loud street party until about 3.30am - great if you want to join in but we had to get up early the next day to travel home.

The position was excellent. The living room area was spacious and comfortable.

We had 4 of us in the group but our friends for whom we had booked could not sleep in the bed in the second bedroom as it was extremely uncomfortable and held up with a broken piece of wood so they were forced to book another apartment and pay again. The oven and stove top did not work and induction hot plates had been sat on top of the stove. One of the stairs was broken at the edge which was quite an OH&S hazard. The place seems to be in need of some renovation and rejuvenation but has lots of potential.
