El Faro Apartaments

The room is cosy and nicely decorated, and the location was the main reason I chose this place. The square outside is lively and full of character. We stayed on the third floor and, with the windows closed, the night time noise from the street was not an issue at all. The air conditioning was absolutely essential during the warm June days and worked perfectly.

A few things to keep in mind: The check-in instructions need rethinking. A video tutorial is not the most practical format for arrival instructions. A simple text with photos would be much clearer and easier to follow, especially when you have to understand so many codes and keys. The street where the entrance gate is located is, unfortunately, one of the dirtiest we encountered. The pigeon situation is a serious problem. I noticed some silver tape on the windows as a deterrent, but it is simply not enough. Stepping on pigeon droppings every time you enter or leave the building is unpleasant and, at times, a little unsettling. I genuinely hope the owners can find a more effective solution, because it does affect the overall impression of an otherwise lovely place. Finally, a heads-up for anyone travelling with large suitcases: the stairs are very narrow and can be quite a challenge on arrival and departure. Worth keeping in mind when booking.

I have always wanted to stay in the Plaza de la Font. It was wonderful. Perfect location. Lovely apartment.
