Hotel Aagaman - Best Family Hotel in Bandipur

Our stay at Aagaman Hotel was excellent. The hotel is run by Shasi and his family, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. We stayed for six nights to relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer at a leisurely pace. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the central area of Bandipur. Its location is very peaceful, with spectacular views of the mountains and forest. We even saw many monkeys living in the trees! The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and spotless, and there is an extensive menu of delicious homemade food. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy Bandipur. Many thanks to Shasi and his family for taking such great care of us with so much warmth and dedication.

A very friendly family run hotel in a quiet spot a short 5 min walk from the village centre. The sunset view from the room balcony was breathtaking. It’s also great for bird watching as it’s surrounded by trees and local village life. Mr Rudra and his wife were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. They even moved us to a different room with better WiFi as I had some important work meetings. They also helped us book our bus tickets to Pokhara. Overall a very pleasant stay and we’re already planning to go back. Highly recommended.

Lots of small insects due to the location, and there was a big cockroach in our bed.

Great location and a good hotel with cozy rooms run by a family. Rooms were small but clean. Perfect location. Both Bandipur Bazar and Tudikhel are within 5 minute walk. Okay-ish value for the money for the facilities. Friendly and helpful owners until an unfortunate incident occurred.

Warmer blankets would have made the stay more comfortable, especially while traveling with a child. Not enough for winter. The departure experience was disappointing. Although it was our fault—we arrived about 1.5 hours after the checkout time due to a delayed lunch, which we had informed them about in advance—the way the situation was handled was unpleasant. The owner could have followed standard policy and charged an extra fee if necessary, or simply discussed the matter calmly. Instead, the conversation was handled poorly, with what felt like unnecessary and misleading explanations about booking cancellations. As a result, we left the beautiful city with an unpleasant feeling. I recommend handling such situations more gracefully in the future.
