Nice location
We had some issues with the room (terrible smell, probably from the damp) but got a better one after two nights. Staff was very nice but seemed quite disorganised. Also, the restaurant didn’t serve much food even though they had a menu (but dishes were mostly unavailable).

The garden of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The guesthouse is a bit outside of the city but we could easily arrange a motorbike (or Grab) to get there. We enjoyed the the peace and quiet and amazing views at the guesthouse.
On arrival at the airport we found out that they had forgotten to arrange the airport shuttle as we had requested.

I loved the location, you need a scooter to get around and the property manager arranged that for us for an "ok" price. We booked a Mandeh Island tour through the accommodation which was one of the highlights of our holiday.
When comparing to the market, the accommodation has some faults that need to be addressed. We stayed 3 nights and we had to ask for change of towels. The shower was cold (warm water not working- reported) WIFI was to low (if that is the case, just do not offer it). Staff was inattentive (either stayed in kitchen or somewhere else).
