Everything! Location was perfect; an easy walk from the train station and close to plenty of attractions. The onsen was definitely a highlight. It had two hot pools, a cold pool, and a sauna.The room was much larger than others I have experienced so far in Japan. Excellent blackout curtains so we slept soundly. Incredibly comfortable indoor clothes were provided in the rooms and could be worn throughout the property. The laundry was a delightful surprise! Washing was free and drying was very cheap at 100 yen per 20 minutes. Even a large load was dry after 40 minutes. Many machines available so I never had an issue. The free ice cream, milk drinks, late night ramen, and drink station were all lovely touches that made me feel welcome and appreciated. So many hotels these days like to nickel and dime guests, but not Dormy! This was my first stay at a Dormy Inn, but I will be searching them out next time I come to Japan!

The onsen and sauna were on point. A wonderful addition that made the trip. Lovely staff and clean quiet rooms as well. Would definitely come back.

Real Hot spring Onsen (not a Sento). The bed was great. The size was fantastic for the price. The added amenities and complementary cold treats after the onsen was the best touch!
The pillows are super hard.
