Il Quinto Elemento - Residence Of Charme

The property is exceptional. I highly recommend it. It is clean, beautiful, extremely well appointed. The host is very accessible.

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Ostuni and found Il Quinto Elemento, not thinking much of it other than that it looked like a decent place to stay. Let me tell you, the pictures on Booking.com did not do this restored noble house justice. We were surprised by how beautiful the place was, as if we had traveled through time to live with the nobles themselves, but with modern amenities. Every room was jaw-dropping, both in our apartment and the main areas. The building was covered in star jasmine, which greeted us with its wonderful scent every time we walked back from our explorations in Ostuni. Mariangela was lovely to deal with, greeting us as soon as we arrived and answering every question as quickly as possible on WhatsApp. I have rented hotel rooms and properties all over the world, and Il Quinto Elemento was definitely one of the top places I've ever stayed in, a magical experience in a magical city.

Great location. Short walk to the main square where there were plenty of places to eat. Spacious and we enjoyed our balcony. Quiet. Staff was helpful. This is a unique property.

There was nothing we didn’t like. But you need to be able to climb stairs because your bed is lofted over the main room. Also, I have a bad back and the bed was a little hard for me. Written directions for using stove would be helpful.
