The summit of The Priest can be viewed from the front porch. With a cup of coffee, that’s where we start every day when we’re here.
The yard is large (2.5 acres) and is a great private place for games or a barbecue. There is seating around a stone fire pit for evening gatherings and a couple more chairs by the creek for unparalleled serenity.
The house is spacious with 5 beds (1 king, 3 queens, 1 full) and 3 full bathrooms. The open kitchen, dining area, and great room are perfect for families to engage and enjoy time together.
This beautiful stretch of the Appalachians offers so much to do within a short, scenic drive of the house. Hiking trails, skiing at Wintergreen Resort, local farmers markets and unique shops. There are 5 breweries, 3 distilleries, 3 cideries and 10 wineries all within a 25 mile radius.

Property had all the amenities and more! Big open spaces, SUPER comfy beds and linens. They went the extra mile with bowls and goodies for the puppies. Teas, coffee and honey sticks for guests. Games and cards to play. Beautiful firepit setup with picnic table and a set of chairs over by the running stream was wonderful. We enjoyed the lush green grass for the pups to run and the quite corner the property sits on. Plenty of seating and table space for many guests, we had 9! Kitchen is spacious and feels easy to move in with lots of people navigating it at once. We had a great time, thank you so much for opeming your home to us and sharing its beauty.

Our stay at Mima’s Mountain House was truly fantastic. We traveled with friends and their two dogs to spend Thanksgiving together. The hosts were very communicative and made the check in easy. Everything we needed was there and the location is gorgeous. Just secluded enough to feel private without being too far from local attractions. Hiking, breweries, fishing…everything was right there just mere minutes away.

Perfect house! We enjoyed the fire pit and the spacious yard with privacy. This is the cleanest pet friendly house I’ve stayed in. Tons of room and all the amenities you can need. The beds were all comfortable. We will definitely book again!

We loved our stay at Mima’s Mountain House. We visited the area for a wedding a Lovingston Winery. It was the perfect location! Super clean, quiet, had everything we needed!
