Location location location! This beautiful coastal home is centrally located in East Ft. Lauderdale. Situated minutes from the beach, Las Olas shops, restaurants, and the airport. Walking distance to Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s. This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, two large living rooms, an eat-in kitchen, as well as a laundry room that also functions as a gym and home office space. The lakefront backyard includes a large pool and patio, perfect for enjoying the sunshine!
This home features 3 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds), and 2 full bathrooms (full shower, tub/shower). It is situated in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, the beach, and the airport. It is in close proximity to grocery stores and many amazing restaurants!
The home features a pool (HEATED with baby gate) and a fresh water lake. The lake can be used recreationally for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The home comes equipped with a paddle board and a kayak for guest use. The backyard is fully fenced in.
Baby/Toddler items:
The home included a pack n play (with sheet) as well as a booster seat. If additional items are needed during your stay, there are numerous rental companies in the area who supply children’s necessities.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The kids loved the pool and there was enough room for the 5 of us to spread out. We enjoyed the view of the canal. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

If you are looking for a home away from home, look no further, “The Snowbird” is fantastic ! Well appointed to address your everyday needs, this house seem very much like your home away from home. It is as pictured.
The kids enjoyed the pool and pool noodles. We did a bit of fishing off the sea wall and iguana watching from the backyard.
Check in and check out was simple. Communication with the hosts, Chad and Katy was kind, straightforward and prompt. If you are not familiar with Fort Lauderdale, the location is not like Midwest county living but it is safe. It allows you to visit neighboring cities to the north and south including Lauderdale by the sea and Miami. If you are looking for something walkable to stores or beach you won’t find that here but a 15 minute car ride gets you to local Publix, Walmart, Target, a few restaurants, a state park and the beach. Outlet shopping about 30 minutes away depending on traffic.
We would certainly consider staying at the snowbird again should we re-visit Fort Lauderdale.

The house is very comfortable, so clean! And a great location to all local shopping beach etc. the pool is wonderful and the lake adds a special touch to the overall experience. Love this home!
