Set on a hilltop in the beautiful countryside surrounding Frome, this renovated barn conversion makes for a splendid base for Somerset stays. It’s been lovingly renovated into a modern and comfortable home, with everything you might need for your visit to this pretty part of the UK.
You can look forward to sunny afternoons in the garden, taking in the views of Orchardleigh Estate. Perhaps you’ll cook on the barbecue while the kids play. Evenings and rainy days will be spent around the log burner, playing board games or curled up on the oh-so-comfortable sofa. Your four-legged friends are welcome to join, too, so nobody has to miss out.
It takes twenty-one minutes to stroll along the River Frome into Frome itself, where you’ll find independent shops and charming cafes. It’s a lovely town to mooch around, set amid Somerset countryside. Woodland walks are right on your doorstep, so make sure you bring your boots. The gorgeous National Trust property of Stourhead is twenty minutes away by car, and is well worth a run out.
