Didnt exxpect much for £40 but basic cleanliness would have been nice. Rooms wasnt clean, damp on the walls and mouldy shower head

Nothing, do not book here.

Smells of smoke, broken fixtures, windows don't shut properly, public hair in shower, stains on the bed, bed severely uncomfortable, heating turns off in the night so you freeze.

Only the balcony sea view

There was a crazy woman which wanted to enter our room saying she heard us making noises but it was other people instead. We told her to not keep disturbing us anymore and she said she’s not going to (and she went back to her room). Also.. there was a group of drunk (maybe even on drugs) which were coming from outside and stopped in the hallway and started talking very loudly and gradually screaming putting loud music and one of the guys hit a girl and they started arguing very loudly. WE COULDN’T SLEEP FROM 2:00 UP UNTIL 5:00 am! Definitely never coming back.

The electronic room door entry worked well.

Bathroom sink drain needs unblocking, and the sink basin needs a cream cleaner for once. Window frames need refitting to stop the major draught. The room door needs to at least have a draught excluder added to it or new doors. The mattresses need replacing. They were harder than concrete. The bunk bed needs to be made safe. It was so rickety.

Fab stay

Staff were very polite, was given a free upgrade for my daughters birthday. Beautiful sea views, comfortable beds. This is our second stay.

Perfect place for what we wanted with a big plus being the balcony and view

Loved the location and having a balcony that we could sit on to have a smoke and cups of tea and watch the world go by, my partner was very happy

The toilet light worked when it wanted to , the extractor fan didn’t work, just think they need to spend a little time making sure the room and bathroom were clean properly, but didn’t affect our break and will definitely stay again

I left the property with staying it was so bad. Booking .com should not have this hotel on their books.

Only the location on the sea front

The property was uncared for, dirty and sordid. Quite frankly I wouldn’t have felt safe staying there. After seeing the room I left and found somewhere else to stay even though I had paid for three nights accommodation on a non refundable deal.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at any price.

Sheets and towels were clean, however no bath mat or hand towels. Staff did try to rectify our issues but it was too little, too late for us.

Room was dirty. Shower had black mould on and in the rose head. Staff did change it on request however mould/dirt was still evident on the shower walls and around the drain. Heating didn’t work so staff provided a portable heater. Only 2 electrical plugs in the room, one needed for the heater. Black debris in the jug so unusable. Serious health concerns with this property.

Room had a good view

This hotel is used as a halfway house, I assume by the local council. Clearly we were unaware of this at the time of booking. There were several people clearly under the influence of substances in the grounds, and rooms, of the property. One person was arrested by police under resistance early on the evening of the night we stayed. Local police confirmed that the property was used as a halfway house when we spoke to them. We were unable to get another hotel at the time so were forced to stay. I have reported the property to Booking.com and I am still waiting for them to investigate why it is still on their site for bookings. As an aside the property was also filthy.

Good location with parking. Clean bedding and toilet.

We had to go looking for staff to book in and no one was around when we left. Broken bottom of the bed. Dirty handrails throughout public areas. Apart from the bedding and toilet, it didn’t look like the room had been cleaned; bits on the carpet, popcorn on the chair, sticky bits on the information sign, curtains hanging off the rail, toothpaste stuck to basin pedestal, water and soap scum on shower screen, thick mould on the shower hose. No blind at the bathroom window. No bedside cabinet or lamp. Damp patches on the ceiling above the bed and in the bathroom. I wasn’t expecting much from the previous poor reviews but I was still really disappointed and won’t return. I wonder if the hotel owners and staff would be happy sleeping there. With a deep clean and some TLC it would be great.

Perfect location for a few nights away

Location was amazing. Everything is right in the doorstep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was really easy and they made sure i had a parking space for my stay. I was worried after reading some reviews that the room would be awful but it fine for what we needed.

The only downside was the very thin walls. Im not sure if staff accommodation was next to our room but we could hear what sounded like cooking and washing up at about 9/10pm, also very loud talking. We could also hear a lot of talking in the front car park late at night. I also didn't like the way that the main door was left unlocked all night. We were told that because all room doors were secure with keycodes that they could leave the main front door unlocked. I didn't like the idea that anyone could be walking around the hotel at night.

Not bad if you're travelling alone and want zero frills, and a cheap place to stay for a night.

Affordable with a great sea view! Staff were kind, and offered to get me a good parking spot (parking is £7). Didn't have to check anything out as door access is via code, not card.

Walls were thin, you could hear the room next to you. Air con / fan wasn't working, so it got a bit stuffy as it was in the middle of summer, so I had to open my windows wider, and risk birds coming into the room that were perched just outside.

Room could of been cleaner but then you get what you pay for.However getting there early meant we got a better room and got a parking space even though it was a extra £7 a night it was still cheaper than parking anywhere else and it was your space for your stay.

A late at night last minute booking that turned out to be a hidden gem

We had a lovely stay and were treated amazingly by the staff, in particular Solomon. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked late but he was there to greet us and made sure we were settled. We were lucky enough to get the only room they had left.The view from our room out over the water was amazing. We will be back. Thank you Solomon from Sean and Emma in number 32, you are a gent

First and last time.

Location is great

Tired hotel that needs work. No plug in sink. No soap in bathroom. Bathroom door kept getting stuck. Couldn't both get on WiFi. Having phone talks instead of seeing staff was wasn't great. Man on reception was great when he did turn up though we had to phone first as we were waiting in reception but no one there.
