View from the balcony over the lake. 10 minute walk to St Gilgen centre for excellent cakes coffee and then evenings for traditional Austrian meal at Wirt am Gries.

Quiet space; near mountains.

It’s not exactly room with lake view. Also no microwave and internet was spotty. Guidelines to connect to WiFi should be provided in English

Everything was perfect. NIce and helpful owner Phillip. Tastefully equipped apartment on the ground floor with exact entry to shadowed terrace and beautiful garden with covered swimming pool. Parking place in the garden. Stunning views on mountains from every window, terrace, deckchairs, swimming pool with warm water. Nice little kitchen, dishwasher, coffee machine on capsules (Nespresso and others), toaster, cooking stove with oven. Spar supermarket under the hill 200 m from the house. Nice little path through the meadow to the beach, center of the town and a little harbour from which you can go by ship to other beautiful places placed around the lake Wolfgangsee. Many good restaurants in the town. Plenty places to go and admire. The water in the lake is of incredible turquoise colour.

I think this place would be great for locals/families/groups. St. Gilgen is a beautiful town that is close by

I would have preferred better communication. It was poor and delayed. We never got our salzburg pass, as promised, despite paying the city tax (cash in an envelope?) No front desk, not very friendly man who showed up to give us our key. He seemed a bit inconvenienced by our arrival. I would have preferred an actual hotel with reception and in the small downtown. No cleaning, and when I requested (it said available on request), they again seemed put out, and said there "may be additional fees" . Walls were thin could hear all the neighbors.
