Gecko - On the Marina with Pool & Private Jetty

The Property amazing and exactly what we thought it was going to be. Its a single story home that sleeps 8. We attended a wedding and we had family staying in 4 other homes on the marina and everyone said the Gecko was the one with the better amenities. The beds were very comfortable, the Kitchen had the amenities we required and the ease of check in and out was so simple. We had originally booked the home with a mind for my Grandmother who uses a walking frame. Although she did not come, this home would have been perfect for her, she would have had easy access inside the house and onto the back deck. The owners were contactable and checked in every second day of our stay. They were good about reminding us of rules like 10pm - 7am noise curfew or bin day. I had questions about the property before my stay and the owners answered my questions before arriving in a timely manner. The Owners manual is well put together and easily accessible. They had information about the home, things to do and see in Exmouth, menus for restaurants and an easy to follow detailed list of the check out process. The checkout process was the easiest I have had at a whole house rental ever. This is because of the detailed list. The owners have a lovely property and we will be back if we can get a booking.

The improvements I'm going to suggest are minor. They are more conveniences that we would like rather than a necessity. The property does not have a clothes dryer which is not an issues as there is a clothes line on the side of the house. This is a convenience we would have liked. The property has towels but no specific pool towels that we could find..

Jetty fishing!!!

Absolutely everything, beautiful location and such friendly and helpful owners. Will definitely be looking at booking again.

Nothing at all.

The catering was lovely

The room was very outdated and worn. We visited this establishment a fews ago, and we're enarmoured with the property and the attention to excellence and quality of linen, towels, toiletries, and overall cleanliness. However, this time, it was overall lacking in the ambiance we were expecting for the price. Culminating in dead and dying pot plants in the room
