Hostal Brisa Serena

We chose to stay at this hostel multiple times (4 separate nights) during our South America trip, as Santiago International Airport was our main transit hub for flights to different destinations across the continent. The hostel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, and truly feels like a home away from home. The host is one of the kindest people we met throughout our journey. Even though he does not speak English, Google Translate solved all communication issues easily. One thing we really appreciated was the affordable luggage storage service. We were able to leave our unnecessary items here while traveling to other destinations, which only cost a few dollars per day — much cheaper than paying expensive airline baggage fees. An Uber from the airport only costs around USD10, making it very convenient for transit stays. Although it is not close to the city center, I highly recommend this place to travelers using Santiago as a base for connecting flights around Chile or South America.

Almost nothing. If I had to mention something, the room is slightly small, so it can be a bit difficult to fully open large luggage for packing. Also, for the upstairs rooms, guests will need to carry their luggage up the stairs.

Inconvenient location- there's a supermarket within walking distance and a few restaurants but very suburban Good for one night only Owner doesnt speak english but tries his best to converse via google translate It is also someone's home; so, no keys for your room and you have to ring the bell to enter and leave.

Very homely and comfortable. The host and his son were very kind and even lent us travel card to get around on the buss

Close to the airport and simple to access! Nice and quiet and the dog was super friendly! Nice to have a simple breakfast and use of the kitchen for dinner and located close to the supermarket making it a fantastic budget option!
