Location is in a dangerous part of town.

Had my room upgraded at no extra cost to the suite ! The standard rooms as well is excellent condition . Modern and tasteful upmarket decor. Awesome staff . They give so many tips and give you time to assist with touring the city. The staff helped to print my boarding pass . They really went above and beyond to make me happy . Reception allowed me to store my luggage on the day I checked out so I could go out exploring . Great air conditioning Awesome buffet breakfast ! The catering staff are awesome as well. A good location . Has a thriving atmosphere. I had an interesting bus journey one night going back to the hotel . The bus driver plays reggaeton music which is a Latin American type of boisterous music. Passengers get on the bus at night without paying, passengers perform freestyle rap . Quite an experience ! McDonald’s is nearby . I found myself using my maps app on my phone at night to find it . But it’s only three blocks away . The area is diverse and you can find different types of Latin cuisine and coffee shops . To fit into the local community , I wore a baseball cap and I wore matching colours . I also carried a drawstring plastic bag instead of a rucksack . The hotel sells water which is handy . One night they ran out but there’s a 247 petrol station which I went to to buy water . The Jedimar Motor Museum is very close .

The last day of my one night stay the shower would flicker between scolding hot to Luke warm . However given the upgrade and excellent quality of the hotel , fantastic staff , this was a minor inconvenience considering the overall excellent quality of my stay

The rooms and hotel in general were nice, and I appreciated that there was a security lock in the door.

I didn’t like that it was very cold in the room, and there was no blanket provided. I had just arrived layer from the airport and when I called asking for a blanket, I had to go back down to the first floor to get it myself. It would have been nice if they had asked me at reception if I wanted one. Worst, the toilet was not cleaned at all. There was a hair and drop of urine on it. I had to clean it myself after a long trip.
