About this farm stay rental
Riverbend Ranch is a 170-acre working cattle ranch with horses, cows, chickens, and ponds. We're surrounded by The Duck River on three sides, totaling 1.3 miles of riverfront. We have some of the best fishing and fly fishing around with a lake, three ponds, and direct access to Duck River. Enjoy a picturesque and rural experience in the country while being in a spacious, warm, and furnished house.
Just over an hour from BNA and Nashville. 20min to Jack Daniels and Nearest Green Distilleries.
The house has 2 master bedrooms downstairs (one with a king bed, one with a queen bed) and 2 additional bedrooms upstairs (one with 2 twin beds, one with 3 twin beds) each with its own full bathroom as well. There is an additional half bath on the first floor. Each room also has a walk-in closet. The main living area is spacious and open with a living room, dining area, and full kitchen. There is also a substantial utility room with a washer and dryer.
There is wifi in the house, it's not in the listing because our cellular wifi is very unstable. Sometimes it's 4mbps some times is 40. We're currently working on getting fiber to the ranch but it's a very expensive endeavor.
We have a nice new TV on the wall but not cable TV. Feel free to bring dvd’s or connect to your phones hot spot to watch movies or shows on a streaming service.
There is a paved road up to The Ranch, but gravel roads will take you onto the property, to the house, and down to the river.
Designated parking for multiple vehicles at the house. Trailer/camper parking is available upon request.
We live full-time on the property, so please reach out if needed! If you want to meet the animals, get a tour, or have any questions please contact us!
Normandy, Tennessee is a rural community located in the middle of several quaint towns including Bell Buckle, Shelbyville (Nearest Green Distillery~30min), and Lynchburg (Jack Daniels Distillery~30min). We are about 1 hour from Nashville International Airport (BNA), 1hr 20min from Nashville, and 1hr 20min from Franklin. Many of our neighbors are other large farms or ranches. We do have 6 neighbors that you pass as you drive into the property, but other than them, our neighbors are in the distance. We are truly in the country.
Gravel roads on the premises will take you to the house as well as down to the river.
No fishing license is needed to fish the lake, where you can fish for bass, bluegill, and catfish (catch and release only). A fishing license is needed to fish on the river.
We currently have 40 cows, 6 horses, and 12 chickens, and a barn cat. Feel free to pet the horses but do not go inside the fence.
The property has 1.2 miles of riverfront and is all accessible except a little portion that will be shown on a map before arrival. There are lots of spaces to sit and watch the birds and other wildlife around the property.
Fishing in the lake or river is excellent, but no swimming in the lake or ponds. Please keep any alcoholic beverages inside the house or on the patio. Feel free to pet the horses, but do not go inside of the wire to touch any of the animals. Beware of barbed wire.

Not only was the property beautiful, spacious, accomadating, and totally family friendly!!
Because of dangerous weather the owner gave specific instructions for sheltering during tornado.
This is a definite tie visit again!!!

River Bend Ranch is wonderful. The home is clean and with two master suites it was wonderful for two couples. We made this trip for fishing and with the lake and three ponds and the Duck River, we were sure able to do three full days of fishing. The Ranch is beautiful and so very neat. It was pretty much a perfect place for what we were looking for.
