This darling canal front condo located in the gated waterfront community of Pirate's Cove Resort is perfect for a family or couples who want to get away and experience the wonder of the Outer Banks. For the fishing enthusiast that wants to bring their own boat, this canal front condo offers a 25' boat slip for its guests at no additional cost. Dedicated covered parking under the unit is perfect for jet skis or boat trailer. With its ideal location, you are only a quick drive to the beaches of Nags Head, Jennette's Pier, Roanoke Island Festival Park, and the NC Aquarium.
The open concept living room with a queen sleeper sofa and twin sleeper love seat, kitchen, and dining areas are chic and perfect for a quiet night in after the hustle and bustle of the beach. The unit was lovely…nice corner unit. King size bed was comfortable. The A/C stopped cooling properly the day before we left, we did mention to the rental company so they could address the issue. The only other recommendation would be if you are only providing a keurig coffee machine, it would be nice to supply an assortment of coffee pods. Or mention in the description that a keurig is the coffee maker so renters can know what to bring. We brought ground coffee not knowing & had to run out to buy pods. Overall we had a great stay & Pirates Cove is a wonderful place to spend the 4th! Thanks for having us!

We booked our stay for 6 nights but left after 2 nights due to the area having a mandatory evacuation of the outer banks because of Hurricane Erin's high probability of causing roads to be closed.Our check in was very easy and the home was as described on the site. We brought our own coffee maker due to reading reviews, we knew that there was a Kureg maker and it was just easier for us to bring our own Coffee and creamer instead of having to purchase the pods. It was dark when we arrived, entry was easy. When we entered the home we found several lamps bulbs were blown. We were able to change some around so we had light where we needed it. After the 1st day I noticed that my husbands feet were black from going barefoot in the house. After rubbing a white paper towel dry on the floor, the towel was black. With the cleaning fee that is charged I would expect the floor to be clean. The cleaning service obviously does not do floors.
