An exceptional apartment in the centre of Belper,would definitely recommend

The apartment was fantastic,everything you needed for a great stay,everything on your doorstep,Susan the host greeted us to show us around and she was lovely,apartment cosy and warm with coffee pods,biscuits,milk and all you needed plus a bottle of wine,bathroom shower gel and shampoo all included.Restaurants and pubs all very close.

Fabulous Apartments, Great Host and Ideally Located

Due to a totally unforeseen issue that arose with the plumbing we got to experience two totally different apartments, but this didn't overly detract from our stay. The host dealt with the issue efficiently, professionally and with courtesy. Both apartments were unique in their own ways and were very well appointed, high quality and had everything one would need along with a few extras. This accomodation is conveniently close to Belper Town centre and some fabulous restaurants, bars/pubs, attractions and amenities. We highly recommend a stay here, noting that we aim to return again.

Beautiful apartment. Great location.

The central location in Belper was fabulous. Apartment was comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The owner was helpful and kept in communication with us during our stay. Definitely recommend the apartment and the local restaurants, The Olive and The Bluebell.

A safe and friendly place to rest and contemplate the future.

The aparment was absolutly gorgeous. It was elegant and spacious and so much thought had gone into equiping it with beautiful artwork and furnishing. The decor was outstanding. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. there was also a lovely breakfast and lunch cafe in the courtyard and the best pizza I've ever eaten next door on the main road. It was calm and peaceful. It felt as if you were on the upper floor of a fairy tale castle. I was on a solo adventure to Uk. When I arrived Susan was right there with the key and it became my refuge for a long weekend. Susan was wonderful she took time to understand what I was hoping to get from the trip and gave me so much help towards my goal.

At the age 72 and having lived in a 2nd floor flat with a lift (elevator) for the last 10 ten years, I hadn't realized how unprepared I was for the stairs. The description is perfectly clear saying that the upper apartments were reached by staircase but I hadnt really factored that in. I did okay with the stairs but they came as a bit of a shock the first day. Susan was wonderful and carried my suitcase up for me and after that I was fine with them. There were also two steps inside leading up to the beautiful lounge but there was a hand rail so they were fine for me too.

Everything very nice apartment everything you needed very nice touch with goodie basket left for us very appreciated area was nice within walking distance for pubs takeaways and general shops . Lovely cafe below apartment just right for breakfast in the morning Easy carpark across the road and it's free very convenient

One thing the bed is slightly too small for 2. People and very soft found it difficult to sleep on it

Great accommodation in a lovely location.

Great location and facilities. The host (Susan) was lovely and really helpful. This apartment really was a home away from home, lots of little touches (I.e bottle of wine and quality shampoo and conditioner) which really makes this accommodation good value for money. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Although fine for a couple of night, we found the bed a little small and too soft for our personal liking.

Welcoming apartment in Belper

Susan was an amazing host, very responsive, available and kind! The house was sparkling clean, right in Belper town centre which we used as a starting point to visit the Peak District, including the heights of Abraham, Chatsworth house and the peak rail. The house contains all the utensils and appliances you might need, including professional hairdryers, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, ironing board etc. We were welcomed with complimentary toiletries, water, juice and milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. What a treat! Thanks Susan!!

The water pressure and temperature of the shower were a bit hit and miss and the bedrooms could do with ticker curtains or blackouts. But other than that it was a great stay! Thank you!!

Would highly recommend renting from Susan & George. Absolutely wonderful people.

Host, Susan communicated well. Did walk-through and explained everything well. Wonderful host. She tried to think of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We appreciated the efforts.

We didn't have local, live TV. Streaming can be time-consuming. Tumble dryer rather than mini-dishwasher would have helped, as dishwasher wasn't much use. A lot of stairs to climb. Okay for the younger ones, not so much for the older ones, but the apartment more than made up for the stairs!
