FYI - For guests bringing pets, please clean up after them. We will be requesting additional payment for any extra clean up from your pet. (The pet fee - $100 per pet, only covers additional cleaning to make sure to get all pet fur by double washing all linens, wear and tear on flooring/carpets and furniture). No more than 2 dogs allowed.

Location, location, location! This little gem of a property has a direct walking path through town to the sandy beach! Great for leased dog walks! It is very clean, comfy and well-stocked with things you may need, including laundry facilities, and parking on-site in the driveway. During our stay a 'Nor Easter rainstorm hit, but we were tight and cozy inside the Salty Dog property. A fun, little place to stay to enjoy Hampton Beach and its coastal amenities!

The beach was only a 5 minute walk away. The inside of the house was very clean. The front gate had a broken hinge on it, which made it annoying to use.

Yes, the backyard was redone to make completely enclosed while we were there for space/play time with your pet. Cottage was clean with unclutterly spaces and room for 5. Kitchen was adequate with addl things such as combined cofee maker, blender, micowave, toaster , dishwasher and combined washer/dryer and eating space for 4. Sunroom in front with cozy hanging chair. The one complaint was the traffic noise especially on weekend, although some may get used to it. Walkable to Hampton beach and some of the eating places/restaurants. Bathroom is small and no outlets to plug in waterpik. There is a parking area for events right next door like the half marathon so cars were parked right next to the front yard. This would be rare. With no fault of host, but boatdwalk is mostly closed this late in season, but dogs allowed on beach adter October 1st. I would come back if in the area and can see all the improvements being made.

We had a nice stay. It had everything we needed and is close to beach. Shower is tight but doable. Fenced in yard is nice and great for the dog. We would stay again.
