Exceptional and welcoming place, will book again in future!

Giedre was an exceptional host and a wonderful kind lady and welcomed us warmly with a delicious spread of wine and cheese and guided us with spot-on recommendations. We went to the local restaurant walking distance that she recommended for 2 nights. We call her our Italian Amma (mom), she was the best part of our Italian trip. Truly special

The best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in!

Giedre was an exceptional host and a wonderful kind lady. She helped us navigate our stay which was only three nights and wished we'd stayed longer. Giedre has lots of local knowedge of the area and helped us with advice and also restaurant recommendations. The apartment was absolutely immaculate, had everything we needed and a perfect location. There was also a lovey shaded courtyard with orginal working well. This was a great cooler outdoor spot which we used for evening drinks. Como itself is very busy so this apartment which is just a short walk to local restaurants and into Cernobbio is ideal. There is a small supermarket within a two minutes walk and a large shopping centre with a supermarket a few minutes further. There is a bus stop just a short walk from the apartment with regular buses into Como and other towns around the lake. However, it's a lovely scenic 40 minute walk along the lake into Como. There is a lot of history behind the original farmhouse from which it had been converted, which Giedre shared with us and has been in their family for generations. We always self cater and I can genuinely say that this is the best S/C accommodation that we have ever stayed in with the best host! We will definitely return! Thank you so much Giedre!

We had an amazing stay. Not only is the apartment new and spotlessly clean (with aircon!l) - what really makes the stay is Giedre. She made us feel right at home and gave us so much useful information about what to see and do in the area. She also gave us a lovely antipasti and wine made in their cellars. The apartment has great WiFi, shutters for complete blackout. Easy parking nearby. This could also be good for a longer work+holiday stay. Overall a highly recommended stay. I wish we can come back soon!

The most comfortable, homely apartment

Giedre was such an incredible host. The property was extremely clean and was beautifully decorated and maintained. It had all the essentials that were needed and was very homely and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to any family and friends looking to visit Como, as Giedre is very personable, warm and friendly. I will definitely miss this place.

The hotel and the rooms are all newly renovated and super clean. The owner of the hotel, Giedre, is the best hostess you can imagine. She welcomes you so warm that you almost feel at home. The location is perfect for visiting the Lake Como area while still having the feeling of experiencing the everyday life of ordinary people. You can make your daily shopping in the supermarket which is 5 - 6 minutes to walk and you can reach easily the fairy stop "Tavernola" to explore Como, Moltrasio and all the beautiful villages around. We had a rental car and no problem to find a parking place. There were plenty of parking lots around the hotel.

Beautiful property and the apartment is very new, well set up and comfortable, complete with everything that you need. Giedre was super welcoming and made me feel at home. Free parking on the street and easy access to Como.

The most amazing experience for our honeymoon!

Giedre is an outstanding host and a lovely human being. We have never felt so welcome and such comfort from someone we just met. She truly made us feel like family and we will most definitely be returning to see her and her amazing family again. The location is beautiful as well, extremely well kept and feels like home. Giedre is also full of knowledge and helped us make the most of our short stay around Lake Como! 10/10 recommend!

Apartment was new, everything was in a walking distance (lake Como, shopping mall, groceries, boat station). We started our day at the balcony with the beautiful Mountain View. The owner is amazing and friendly family, they created for us really warm almost family atmosphere. Definitely we will come back.

A special place with incredibly generous host who really cares about her guests

We had the most amazing stay there! Giedre went out of her way to make us feel at home and treated us like family, even teaching us how to make her special tiramisu! The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something a little more special than a hotel.

The apartment was really cozy, and it had everything I needed for my stay. In a quiet street, easily accesible from the highway. But the most amazing thing about the stay was the host Giedre. She was so welcoming and helpful throughout the whole stay, she even prepared me dinner when I arrived late in the evening. There was wine and water in the fridge. She offered me a bike to go see around. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

La maison nous a immédiatement donné l’impression d’être chez nous. Nous avons profité d’un environnement paisible, propre et confortable, parfait pour se détendre. La salle de bain était impeccable et fonctionnelle, et la cuisine ainsi que le séjour étaient bien équipés avec tout le nécessaire. Nous avons également apprécié le prêt de vélos, qui nous a permis de découvrir les environs de manière agréable et écologique, une belle attention qui a ajouté une touche de liberté à notre séjour. Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour vraiment spécial, ce sont les délicieuses préparations culinaires de Giedre. Elle nous a généreusement fait découvrir ses spécialités maison, et chaque plat était un vrai régal. Sa gentillesse, son attention et son hospitalité nous ont profondément touchés. Giedre est une hôte exceptionnelle, attentionnée et généreuse. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation. Sa bienveillance restera gravée dans nos mémoires comme un moment inoubliable, tout comme la beauté du lac de Côme et la douceur de vivre qui règne dans cette région.

Fantastisk sted

Vi boede 5 dage i en rigtig dejlig og meget ren lejlighed hos Giedre og familien. Beliggenheden er god i forhold til bl.a Como by og Cernobbio og vi fik lov at låne cykler, hvilket var en dejlig måde at komme rundt på. Vi havde bil og det var nemt at parkere lige udenfor. Der er indkøb lige i nærheden og også flere restauranter. Giedre er en fantastisk person , som er utrolig hjælpsom og yderst gæstfri. Vi fik bl.a friskbagt kage, tapas og rødvin som hendes mand laver. Vi har rejst rigtig meget, men aldrig oplevet at blive taget så godt imod. Lejligheden vi boede i var dejlig stor og flot moderniseret og utrolig ren. Super dejlig madras i sengen og rigtig god hovedpude. Vi havde en fantastisk ferie og kommer helt sikkert igen, næste gang vi skal til Comosøen.

Perfekte Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip am See !

Die Apartments sind unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet ! Badezimmer und Küche sind sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Giedre war eine super Gastgeberin und hat uns täglich mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen verwöhnt. Sie konnte uns zudem richtig gute Tipps für unser Wochenende geben. Fahrräder waren technisch gut in Schuss und für ein Trip nach Como (15min) vollkommen ausreichend !
