Lovely apartment and location. Terrible booking & check in process, and keys collection & return.

Style, comfort, location.

Organising the keys and check in process was far too complicated and drawn out. In addition, when returning the keys, I came across an incredibly rude member of staff at the restaurant who, when I asked if I could take a picture of the key in the box, she exclaimed “I don’t have time. I’ve got Customers to serve!!” She had one Customer who had just ordered a coffee. The apartment, whilst beautiful, is in quite a state of disrepair. There is also a nail protruding in the hallway, on which my son caught his sock. This will need to be addressed before someone hurts themselves. There were two bathrooms but only one toilet. This needs to be made clearer on the advert. I assumed two toilets when I read two bathrooms. Also, the $2,000 security was not mentioned prior to booking. This was significantly higher than the cost of the two nights. Lastly, using the lift was quite disconcerting. It was a squeeze with one person.

Location was great. Cleanliness not great. Not organised with how keys are given to you.

The location

Apartment was in a residential block, with family and kids making noise. Not a problem just not what we thought as the property were very strict about noise and we were happy about that. The place was dirty, had stains and dirty areas. We were not happy about that. The flooring is so old that it creeks loud and some places the floor moves. We were told we could pick up the keys anytime, check in is at 4pm, so had the day planned. When we went to get the keys, they weren’t there so wasted to 1st day of just waiting to get keys which we managed to get later. It was a shambles of going back and forth with the property and generally put a downer on our first day. We managed to pick up the keys from the cleaner as they were leaving. I called out to him and he gave them to us! With all the rules and regulation tat we’re out in place, I thought it would be more prestige than it was. We only had 1 set of keys which made it a bit hard for us to split up or just to relax indoors because you’d have to wait on a call to let the them in. I’ve been wanting to complain to you guys as I’ve taken pics of everything and need a refund of some sort. Even with that picture on booking.com of the front room, there weren’t even any flowers 🤦🏽‍♀️

The check in process is terrible You have to collect the keys from a restaurant where u must wait at the bar until the barman is ready to help you None of this is told to you before you book Also they take you to shady website to pay a deposit of 2000 euros which is quite high for what is available in the apartment The whole experience was bad. The apartment is on the 5th floor. The elevator can barely take 2 people The beds were terrible The toilet and bathroom outdated and old and dirty The apartment not clean The toilet tiny and 1 toilet for a four bedroom apartment with 6 people is a problem The TV did not work. When I complained they wanted me to become a TV technician instead of fixing Wi fi is bad as well

The apartment's historic charm was truly captivating.

The mattresses in all bedrooms were uncomfortable. Furthermore, I was disappointed with the quality of the bedding provided. The sheets and blankets felt cheap and somewhat worn out.

Only 1 toilet between 4 double bedrooms - so potentially 8 people Lift - very small you can only really fit your suitcases in it - or people back to back maybe 3 small people Could not get in until 4.00pm and out for 11.00am

Superb

The apartment was very well furnished and designed, was very modern clean and elegant. It was very spacious for a large group. The location was also excellent, right by arc de triomphe and a metro station.

There was only one key, and no working intercom. While not an issue if travelling as a family, for a group of friends it caused some inconvenience.

Exquisite

This apartment was beyond our wildest expectations. It was huge, beautiful, cozy, quiet, comfortable and super accessible. The hosts were extremely helpful and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Needless to say, it was hard to leave :)

Very beautiful flat with Parisian vibe and an amazing view from the balcony! Host responding to messages and trying to help.

No drinking water or shower gels/shampoo in the bathroom. We expected that it would have the basic comforts upon arrival for the flat's price. Wifi connection confusing, we were given one code and at the same time instructions to activate the code on the screen which was a different code, all that after messaging the host, we expected that internet is basic comfort and that we would have the instructions upon arrival.

A localização era muito boa, o aquecimento do apartamento era muito bom tbm. A vista é bem bonita!

Achamos ruim o fato de só haver um vaso sanitário em todo o apartamento. E a comunicação com o proprietário era ruim, respondia somente depois de muita insistência ou nem respondia.
