Splendid location with easy access to the town of Lyme Regis and wonderful views.
Great location, views, garden, space inside the house. Delightful and would really recommend for a large family group.
‘Communication’ with the agent Sykes Cottages was poor. In fact, they were useless. But good communication with the owner. No complaints at all about the lovely house.

It was an unusual layout with plenty of rooms. Good location.
The general impression on arrival was one of slight disappointment. The house needs a bit of a 'facelift'.The drive and garden out the back was unkempt and whilst it is winter it does not give a good impression. There was no welcome pack, which after a long drive would have been lovely. No tea/coffee/milk/biscuits. No maps/books/suggestions for what to do in the area. The required number of beds were not made up for us, although we were then directed, after a phone call, to extra bedding, though again not what you expect to have to do. There was only a couple of toilet rolls, with one bathroom with a used empty one still on the holder! Had to immediately go out to a shop to get some more. Later that evening we realised that there were no dishwasher tablets or any fairy liquid. On ringing the next morning to enquire about this issue the male contact was quite rude and gruff and complained about being contacted at 9.30am on a Saturday morning!! A housekeeper was sent round. She was lovely and couldn't find any so sourced some from her own pack in her car!

Séjour magnifique. Nous en gardons un souvenir ébloui.
La maison est très belle, grande et très confortable. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les jeux. Elle est très bien située en haut de la colline, avec un très beau jardin en terrasse et on a vue sur la mer au loin. J'avais lu qu'il fallait amener les serviettes de toilette mais elles étaient fournies ainsi que le nécessaire de nettoyage. Bien sûr Lyme Regis n'est pas une ville pour les personnes qui ont du mal à marcher car les pentes sont rudes, mais on peut revenir de la mer en bus, le 51 et le 53 à prendre sur la place en bas de la ville. Pour les courses, il vaut mieux aller en voiture à Axminster ou à Bridport, car Tesco en ville n'a pas de parking. Nous avons passé là un magnifique séjour. La ville mérite bien son nom de Perle du Dorset, et le Dorset est très beau très vert et très apaisant.
Il y a des problèmes d'eau à l'étage, dès que quelqu'un d'autre utilise la douche ou met en route une machine. Quelques couteaux supplémentaires et des couteaux qui coupent ne seraient pas du luxe. Nous n'avons pas réussi à fire marcher la télé mais pour nous cela n'avait guère d'importance. Ce serait bien d'avoir un peu de documentation dans la maison pour les gens qui ne connaissent pas la région, car il y a tant de choses à voir et à faire à Lyme et sans jamais devoir aller très loin.
