Antillas

The location was was great. Directly across the street from Playa Centro. A view of palm trees and that beautiful Isla water and beach out the window can't help but make you feel good. The beds were comfortable. We both had great sleeps. A couple small issues arose. But they were right on them addressing them. The room had a cute, kitschy feel about it. Kitchen was small but fully functional. We only made breakfasts there. But we weren't in need of anything.

There wasn't anything I "didn't like" per se. I would have sat out and enjoyed the large patio and view more if the chairs were a bit more comfortable. A small drying rack on the deck for wet swimwear would be another suggestion. Minors details. But that's what comes to mind if I was to be asked. We liked our time there and could see ourselves returning.

The hotel is located on the main coastal street of downton of Isla Mujeres. So, location is unbeatable as you can go to beach (literally crossing the street), beach clubs (5 min walking) or the restaurants street (3 min walking). The hotel itself is an old building - but they have took care of it. Inside is cozy and quiet. I got lucky and was booked in one of the two rooftop rooms - which have a very ample terrace, which is a great plus for relaxing. Definitely a great place to be in Isla Mujeres!

It's a comment - and not really under control of the hotel: as you are on a main street, at night some locals can still be partying on the beach in front, which could bring some noise to the room. But, hey, that's beach life!

Very clean, the operator kept me informed. All my requests were accommodated without delay.

We really liked the location and the host of the property was lovely.We enjoyed having a balcony and the location of the room was excellent. We expected a better quality of room from the pictures and for the price. It was difficult to find as the owner did not have a sign saying Antillas over the door.It was not really a hotel.Owner needs to put a sign over the door.

The quality of the room.The mattresses were very soft and moved alot as did the beds.Instructions on how to use the stove in the room would have been useful.
