Casa Adosada Salou

David, the host, was very accommodating as he agreed to a very late check-in (11pm!) due to our late evening flight and his son was able to point us to the nearest shop to get food the next day etc. The location was residential, which suited us as we wanted a quiet location. We were about 15 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, pub, restaurants etc. We were 5 mins walk to the bus stop to get to Salou. We ate in La Piazza Italian restaurant which is beside Grace O'Malley's pub and in Salou a few evenings. The house had all the facilities required for self-catering, fridge, cooker, oven, microwave. There was a dishwasher which I didn't need (dishwasher tablets were available) and a washing machine (washing powder here too). There was a clothes horse / clothes airer which I used outside in the patio area to dry our clothes. AC available and 2 bathrooms, spacious (and cool!) sitting room and patio. The complex was quiet as only some of the houses were occupied - all well kept and tidy. The pool was lovely and safe behind a gated fence. The key fob allows access to the pool between 10am and 9pm. We hired a car and there was an underground cark parking space available - which was very welcome due to the high temperature. The three bedrooms were nice, clean and spacious, 2 with double beds and 1 twin beds, with wardrobe and bedside lockers. There were separate beach towels available in the wardrobes which we took to the beach 15 mins walk to Cala Crancs and Cala Font beaches 15 minutes drive to Port Aventura 1hour 20 minutes from Barcelona airport 20 minutes drive to Parc Central shopping centre in Tarragona (Primark, AliExpress, Mango, Zara etc) €0.40 cent per hour in the shopping centre car park Nearest bus stop is at the Festival Village hotel on Ctra. de la Costa (using the exit onto Carrer del Fonoll)

The downstairs shower curtain did not hold in the water and there was a big puddle on the floor! But it was very nice having the second toilet in the house. A little bit of a damp smell in the downstairs but that didn't affect our stay

La casa está muy bien, tiene de todo para poder pasar unos días y las camas son bastante cómodas. Nos dejaron también sábanas y toallas para lavabo y ducha, que viene muy bien para no tener que llevarlas de casa. Tiene aire acondicionado, ventiladores, juegos para los niños. En la cocina hay lavadora y lavavajillas, menaje del hogar etc y en el patio una barbacoa que nos vino muy bien. Los dueños muy amables, gracias a Rus y a David por todo y a uno de sus hijos , que también nos explicó muy bien todo lo del jardín y la piscina comunitaria.

Por poner una pega, la mosquitera del acceso al patio estaba rota y ya que de por sí los mosquitos este año estaban revueltos, accedían a la vivienda a pesar de tener aparatos electrónicos para repelerlos.

La tranquillité de la résidence et l'accès à la piscine a 1min a pieds. Drap de lits fournis et fait ainsi que les serviettes de toilettes. Torchons produit vaisselle pastille LV et MAL fournis. Plage a 15 min a pieds. La clim est très appréciable avec la chaleur. Deux salles de bains, une baignoire et une douche, 2WC aussi. Cuisine très bien équipée four, plaque, frigo congel, grille pain, MO et tous les ustensiles. Une place dans le parking de la résidence ca aussi super. Quoi dire d autre que parfait meme David et sa femme son très gentils ils nous ont envoyés les liens pour le supermarché et les plages.

Bon rien a voir avec la résidence mais les places sur Salou compliqué Rien à dire sur la maison

Quite location but close enough to walk to La Pineda- 10 minutes and bus journey 25 minutes into Salou centre. Lovely quiet beaches at Cala Crancs and Cala Font within walking distance- 10-15 minutes. Apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable with a good sized pool 1 minute walk from our terrace. Owners were kind, helpful and flexible. I couldn't fault our stay in any way, it was perfect.

Access to the roof top terrace would have been nice to see some views of where we were and a sun trap for me. But there are solar panels and limited space so I understand why we didn't have access. Not a negative by any means as our terrace was a sun trap.
