Viva! Farmhouse

The quality of the finish throughout the place, the beautiful setting, and the staff were all outstanding. We only stayed for one night as we were visiting family nearby, but I really wish we could have stayed longer. I usually prefer nice 4-star hotels, but this place was just as good, if not better. It was so relaxing while still feeling like a high-quality stay. It honestly exceeded my expectations and looked even better than the photos. A special mention to Mara, the assistant manager, who was ever so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and delicious. Bonus: the mini goats and little pig farm! My daughter completely fell in love with them. 😆

My mum can’t walk much, and that was my own mistake as I didn’t check whether there was a lift or if the accommodation was on the ground floor. If we had booked earlier, I could have chosen a ground-level room. The staff helped her as much as they could, and it wasn’t too much of an issue as it was only one floor with a good staircase.

We loved our 2-night stay here and were not ready to leave! The rooms and pool are nice, the atmosphere is serene, the breakfast is abundant with fresh cheese and yogurt, eggs and bread - but what makes the place really special is the warmth of Mara, the hostess/manager. She made us feel so welcome and took time out of her busy morning to let our kids feed the goats and pig. Thank you Mara!! We had a great dinner at Sem Fim restaurant in former olive oil right next door.

We love the feeling you get at Viva!Farmhouse. It’s so calm and quiet and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room was larger than I expected. The breakfast seems homemade and fresh, not like big hotel buffets. The kitties and goats on the property are fun! And there is plenty of parking.

The pool area is undergoing some work, and they need more shady areas because you get full afternoon sun there. Not a big deal to us, though.

We did not stay. It was not an attractive property and the mountain view promised by booking.com didn't exist. The room was dark with one small window overlooking an unkempt yard. Thankfully, our deposit was refunded though technically, they could have kept it as we booked last minute.
