The location is good. The accommodation in winter is for sleeping in only. Didn’t feel it was good value for money.

It was a good location. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Heating was very good. The accommodation was easy to access and instructions were given well in advance on how to find it and access it.

Cooking - It should be advertised as suitable for a summer stay only unless other cooking facilities are provided. The pizza oven and bbq were outdoors with no covers and it rained each night of the stay so flooded these facilities. The multipurpose cooker had a broken lid so only a few of the functions were usable. There was also no preparation space to properly make dinner. There was no where to clean the dishes and fry them other than the bathroom sink and leaving them on a towel on the floor. Bathroom - the water never got properly warm, so we had to have quick lukewarm showers. The shower pressure was very poor and trickled at times. The toilet seat also wasn’t fixed properly so slid off once. The towels stayed slightly damp, no way to dry properly and no where in the warmer room to hang them to dry.

Cute little place. Basic but fine.

Easy check in and out. Milk and juice left on arrival in fridge. Toiletries lovely. Bed comfortable Sky TV Coffee machine a good touch.

Bathroom smelled very damp and towels smelled very fusty. Barely any power in the shower at all. Outdoor area appears covered but it has holes in the roofing so couldn't sit out while raining. No seating indoors other than the bed so would be nice to have a dry place to sit outside..

It was dark when I arrived (5.00pm)so I struggled to see the car parking sign, the gate to get into the garden part or the Travellers Tale sign as there was no lights. Contact was very helpful when I got to speak with her. Also WiFi code as always, is case sensitive. It appears as all capitals but actually just the first letter is a capital.

Nice few nights away but disappointed as it wasn’t as special as I had hoped for my partners surprise 40th birthday.

Cute and modern.

Outside was full of cobwebs and not maintained. The bathroom also smelt musty along with the towels. Also found it difficult to get in contact with the owner to make arrangements for my partners birthday balloons but by the time I had a response it was too late to send balloons via post.

We enjoyed our stay & the location was perfect for visiting Clarkson’s Farm & the Farmers Dog pub.

Good, peaceful location & very easy instructions to find the property. Property very clean & well equipped. Love the personal touches of milk, orange juice & lovely yogurts, which was most welcome.

Gate into property was difficult to open as it was dragging on the path. The only thing inside the property was a tea towel.

Travellers Tales short break

Facilities were very well thought out and little touches such as milk, orange juice & yogurts in fridge were very much appreciated. A small space extremely well thought out, coffee machine & microwave as well as kettle all made for a very easy stay. Decor & finishing touches are fantastic. Weather didn't really permit sitting outside but the area provided with bbq, pizza oven & heater are a really lovely addition. Certainly a lovely quiet spot.

Unfortunately the gate into property was very difficult to open which would hinder older/less able guests. On this occasion the fan in bathroom did not appear to work.

Nice quite location. We never met the hosts, but the accommodation was lovely and adequate for one night. The quality of the items provided was really good and it had everything you needed for overnight stay.

4pm check in is quite late, with no allowance to check in early. Meaning very little time to relax before you get ready to head out for the evening. The bed is comfy, but it's a small double.

Exceeded expectations, lovely pod would 100% book again

Lovely pod that exceeded expectations. Everything you need for a couple of nights stay, attention to detail was lovely and was so nice to have milk, orange juice and some yogurts in the fridge upon arrival. All amenities you'd need to cook with the oven ,air fryer and available pizza oven and small bbq outside. Very clean room and incredibly comfy bed. Messaged Hannah upon arrival and very fast attentive replies, would definitely book again.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully decorated pod.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated pod in the Oxfordshire countryside. The orange juice and yoghurts that Hannah left in the fridge for us were delicious. We really appreciated the fresh milk & bottled water too. We felt a warm welcome. Indeed the heating was just right & could easily be managed to suit the weather. The fridge was larger than we expected for a mini fridge which was really helpful. The bed was really comfortable. We appreciated the many choices that the TV offered. The ambience of the whole place was very relaxing.

We struggled to use the coffee maker, but Hannah was really helpful when we texted for help.

Perfect Country Getaway

The space was amazing, especially the fireplace as it brought a great atmosphere. The big window and the pizza oven is a great addition to the place. Everything was up to standards and it exceeded our expectations.

The hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough. And the water pressure was a bit low. Overall, nothing else to complain about.

The accommodation was wonderful, and we were disappointed that we only stayed there for one night. Easy to check-in and to reach the property. All the facilities were great and we had such a comfortable stay. The hosts were great in communicating with us and providing us with the necessary information in advance.

Cosy, comfortable stay.

It was very quiet and relaxing. Very clean and comfortable with some nice touches. We loved the room sprays and the fresh orange juice in the fridge. The outside area was lovely and spacious. Everything was thought of for a comfy stay. We would definitely be staying here again when visiting family in Witney.

This wasn't an issue in daylight but we arrived in the dark and couldn't find the door key lock box- it was under the down light by the side of the door but obscured by the light The owner was very helpful in explaining when I phoned her.

Piece and quiet with everything you need

This is my second visit to the pod in a quiet garden with all the essentials you need away from home. The little extras with fresh milk , orange juice and pastries was a lovely gesture.

Accommodation you show to everyone.

The accommodation was a great departure from the usual chain hotels. Loved the style & setup. Bed comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities, and a selection of breakfast snacks. Secluded & secure grounds, close proximity to car for moving bags/luggage. Really responsive & accommodating host.

As a taller person getting in & out of the shower took some wriggling. The shower was perfectly fine once in, so it's a minor detail. And not an issue of the accommodation but if you're looking to travel locally by taxi I would recommend booking ahead. Area uses local firms rather than Uber (which is available but unreliable in terms of finding a driver) so you may have to wait for a taxi if you've not booked in advance.

Highly recommended

Accommodation was compact but very well designed and contained all the facilities needed for a night/short break. It was a little remote but in a very nice setting. We received very comprehensive instructions from our host in advance, and complimentary breakfast was provided. The charge was very reasonable in comparison to other local accommodation. All-in-all a great choice!

Ideal place for Cotsworld visit!

Everything. It is an ideal place to stay for the ideal tourist place It is no less than the Cotswold chocolate box house experience. Great location and great compound, great facilities in that small space. I have never seen anyone providing so many facilities and provisions in the entire trip. It is close to all the Cotswold villages. Very great memorable experience and Hannah is very considerate and helpful. .

Exceptional

Room had pretty much anything you could want; tv, wi-fi, shower, minifridge, a nice selection of beverages (bonus points for the posh Javanese coffee bags & and the glass-bottled milk/ orange) + Alpen to make yourself breakfast with in the morning. It was already cozy during Wintertime with the spare heating - I can imagine it being particularly nice during Summer with the outside BBQ/ pizza oven. Great value for money!

Beautifully decorated, very clean, lots of attention has gone on making the space feel very welcoming and homely. The bed was really comfortable and it was a good size for a couple.

The shower was a touch on the small side as it opens in, bigger people may struggle to get in and close the door comfortably.
