Our trip Started with a call from the property Mngr telling us (4 hrs before check in time)that we could not stay because of a broken shower door and that we could be refunded or we could stay and not shower (4 day stay no way) we suggested they get a shower curtain. Was told they would check on that and get back to us. We were wine tasting and wondering if we had a place to stay! At 3:45 (4 hours after the initial phone call) we called them and was told that they had installed a shower curtain. Yay! Moving on.. the sheets were not the right size for the pull out sofa/bed. One flat sheet we found to have a suspicious brown spot on it. The egg crate pad is smashed and really needs replaced. A lot of the glasses and cups were chipped, the teflon has been scraped away on the frying pans, and as we were putting away dishes the cupboard door hinge broke! we are pretty easy going people and I have never given a bad review but, this place needs some love. Invest a little more in it, it has great potential. Nice area, beautiful beach you can walk to, deck with a view.

This place was perfect. It was a cute older home something’s could be improved like the pans and the shower head. The shower head was located so high in the shower it was hard for me being only 5.3 lol. I would recommend a shower head with a handle attachment. Overall it was wonderful and I hope to book it again.

It’s the location and view. The house, bedding, furniture, kitchen pans, mattresses, everything needs replacing. The pull out couch is broken, the stained and thin mattress falls to the ground. The floor is very loud and has broken parts covered in rugs. The sliding screen door is broken. It’s all 20 years past replacement. But we saw whales from the sketchy deck with no shade.

Great communication and cute little cottage!

The property was very nice and the updates around are noticeable. I would stress the need to update/improve some of the basics. The corkscrew was good if you were a body builder not over 60! The can opener was rusty and would not open a can completely. And some of the pans were long past the toss out stage. Not even good enough for Goodwill.

We enjoyed our stay at the quaint and cozy cottage overlooking the sea. It's only a short walk to the expansive beach as well as a short drive to many eateries. The deck was perfect for enjoying the quiet morning surf and for leisurely viewing the pink sunsets. Even though we didn't do much cooking we could have with the well-stocked kitchen. We were sad to leave as we quickly fely like it was our Sea Forever home.

80/90’s nostalgia! The view & deck from this place was epic but the place itself was pretty old school/mediocre itself. Definitely felt like a blast from the past with all the board games, no WiFi, and the tv with the vhs players and vhs movies! It was stocked with the essentials but the furniture was extremely outdated/old and felt like visiting your grandma’s house when you were young. The floors and doors were very squeaky/loud. Very walkable to the beach and Siletz Bay Area which was great for crabbing! Also they should replace the kitchen pots& pans, they were all scratched. The place could just use some love/simple updating!

Other than the view this place was very disappointing. It’s not charming, it’s tacky. The bedrooms are unwelcoming and depressing. The larger one has very dark old ugly paneling. The cheap aluminum blinds don’t work well throughout the house. They don’t function properly and barely even keep the sun out. A second bedroom has two very small beds, no dresser or shelving, but has a gigantic decades old non functional TV. It plays VCRs and there was a whole shelf of decades old vcr movies. Big waste of space. The couch was dirty, the burner drip pans on the stove were filthy. The side kitchen was bolted shut and non functional. The washer/dryer was in a dirty, icky garage. The bedding was very old and worn looking. The kitchen is tiny with very little counter space.
