Massimiliano (the host) was a very attentive and communicative host: pre/during/post. The room has a barrelled ceiling with a small window above the lovely and fully functional jacuzzi. It was the cleanest room I have seen in Italy (thanks Angela). The host stocked (without my asking) the room with delicious fresh fruit, pastry and a bottle of prosecco. The host even went and got ice for the provided ice bucket. I offered yet he insisted. The A/C worked just fine as well as the heating (we were ther in May). The bathroom has excellent functionality, hot water and towels. The checkin/checkout process was easy. Public parking was a 2 minute walk and 4 minute walk to the Duomo. Breakfast at the Portugues Bar - 4 miute walk (again excellent) was typical pastry and coffe; packed with locals. Thank YOU Massimiliano.
Maybe a window, but that is not the structure of the room. It is a perfect bolthole. Value for money it was on the expensive side given comparable options in Matera and Gravina. But none have the jacuzzi which we used every night of our stay after day trips and walks. So we got what we paid for.

Ho soggiornato una notte qui con il mio fidanzato. Da subito la comunicazione con Massimiliano è stata semplice e veloce, ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per effettuare un check-in rapido e per avere un piacevole soggiorno. Entrando si percepisce subito la cura per i dettagli, camera ampia e profumata, atmosfera molto romantica. Pulizia impeccabile in tutti gli ambienti. Letto grande (raro trovarne così) con materasso e cuscini ipoallergenici molto comodi. Nel frigobar uno spumante e due bottigliette d'acqua in omaggio, un pensiero molto gentile. A disposizione anche caffè e tisane. TV smart enorme. La vasca idromassaggio molto grande, con una bomba a forma di cuore da scogliere in acqua e circondata da candele.. un sogno! Ottimo il sistema di areazione, sia della camera che del bagno. Doccia a filo pavimento molto ampia e bagno dotato di numerosi piani d'appoggio. Svariati prodotti da bagno in omaggio. Cromoterapia presente sia per la vasca che per la doccia.
La posizione è ottima, abbiamo parcheggiato a meno di 5 minuti su strisce bianche e in pochi passi eravamo nel cuore di Altamura.
Abbiamo avuto un piccolo inconveniente con l'aria condizionata, ma è stato risolto da remoto nell'arco di pochissimi minuti.
La colazione viene fatta in una pasticceria vicina, ampia scelta e tutto era delizioso.
Grazie per questo soggiorno, consiglieremo a tutti e ci rivedremo se torneremo in zona!
