Bright Greensboro Escape ~ 1 Mi to Downtown

Quiet neighbourhood street just 15 minutes walk to downtown area.

It’s a beautiful quaint home nestled in some beautiful trees close to many amenities. Nice sized porch with chairs to enjoy outside just need to buy citronella candies to keep bugs away. Clean and tidy and simple to locate what’s needed. Will use again if available.

The cream (half and half) needs to be replaced, ice machine did not work the water finally came out a little bit. The mattress in the bedroom with the bathroom it tilts down and extra soft so a struggle but still slept well enough. The shower was smaller than it looked and no locks on any of the doors except the front door. The backdoor is high off the ground be careful of bugs getting in. But it has no deadbolt but it locked at least. You should let people know they’re parking on the street. And the workers working on the small building right next to the house decided to start at 7:30 and it woke us all up even the baby. May need to let guests know so they won’t be surprised or frustrated.

We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful 1939 home. The three bedrooms had exactly what we needed, one even had a little desk and lights for my son which made him feel at home. The internet was sufficient for a working and schooling nomadic family. I spent a great deal of time on the front porch, even during the rain storms, watching the world and listening to the little animals moving about. The location was a quick drive into the lively downtown with many delicious restaurants. We cooked many meals in the very cute fully stocked kitchen.

The only reason I did not give it a 10 is the windows do not open, thankfully the air conditioning works great and kept the air moving.
