Backup-Powered Victorian House at GreenPoint Park

We had a pleasant stay in Cape Town; the location was excellent, and the house was spacious, tidy, and clean. The beds were comfortable, the house was well-equipped, and we received a very warm welcome.

The communication via WhatsApp could be improved. When responding to requests for information with a follow-up question, we often received an automated AI response. This caused our actual questions to be missed, forcing us to ask them multiple times before getting a human answer. There was a damaged section of the ceiling in the dining room, likely due to a leak. A large bucket was placed underneath to catch dripping rainwater. Occasionallyt, large cockroaches would fall from that opening, which was quite unpleasant. It would have been better if this had been communicated to us beforehand so it wasn’t a surprise. Afterwards they ask for a 5star rate. When i answer that message I got answered by the ai assistant again….. Not a 5 star accommodation, for us it was a 3,5 star.

Loved the location and the place was spacious! The kitchen, laundry and other facilities were great! The WiFi and entertainment were excellent!

Parking was difficult and we would have liked a bathroom on the main floor

The property is very comfortable, it is stylishly decorated and has lots of character. It really is a lovely place to stay. The main bedroom is very big. The property is well located in a quiet, attractive area. It is close to supermarkets and restaurants and in a good location to reach the Waterfront, Sea Point and the beaches along the coast. I would recommend staying here.

There are one or two parts getting a little worn like the bathroom cupboards, but it did not detract from our stay.

La casa dei miei sogni. Bellissima location, parcheggio sempre davanti alla porta, elegante, ben distribuita, perfettamente attrezzata. Abbiamo avuto un problema con l'allarme e dopo due minuti un incaricato è venuto ad aiutarci a risolverlo, dopo 10 minuti arrivata anche la sicurezza. Tutto perfetto, ma le scale....

Devono fare un intervento immediato sulle meravigliose scale di legno. Siamo scivolati in due. Forse basterebbe mettere delle strisce antiscivolo, o forse smettere di incerarle. Alla mattina anche quei due gradini nel corridoio al piano di sopra si sono dimostrati un pericolo che avrebbe potuto trasformare una delizia di soggiorno in dramma.
