Sunrise Lodge

My parents recently visited Banaras (Varanasi), India, and stayed at Sunrise Lodge during their trip. They had a very pleasant experience and appreciated the warm hospitality provided by the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful from the beginning. They provided clear guidance on how to reach nearby locations and even arranged for a staff member to receive my parents and escorted them to the hotel, which made their arrival very smooth and comfortable. One of the biggest advantages of Sunrise Lodge is its location. The hotel is very close to the Ghat where Ganga Aarti takes place every evening, which made it convenient for my parents to attend this beautiful and spiritual ceremony. The team at the lodge also supported them in planning their visit to the nearby Kashi Vishwanath Temple and other sightseeing spots, which they truly appreciated.

As a small piece of constructive feedback, the room size could perhaps be a little bigger. However, it was still quite adequate and comfortable for their stay.

This hotel is really very good. They are very clean, helpful. For them, money comes after everything. Women are safe. They donot allow any intoxicated traveller. Food quality is good but quantity is more than enough. Definitely go for SUNRISE LODGE, MIR GHAT, VARANASI.

Nothing. They are budget-friendly.

For a solo traveller, this is the best. It is situated in the best location, very near to the Viswanath temple, Visalakshi mata temple, Dasashwamedh ghat, Viswanath Ganga dwar. Hotel is situated on the Meer ghat. You can have a holi dip in the water just by climbing down the steps of the hotel. :)

The hotel is very old. You need to take steep stairs to go to your room. People with knee issues might face problems!

Check out is written it s a 10h30, I got a call at 9h45 to be ready to leave the room at 10h00. Sheets were full of stains, really basic shared shower, nothing to hang a towel or clothes.
