Excellent city break

Great location, very central and you have lot of very good places to eat. Also, the bakery just next to the flat was amazing, recommend to try it. If you visit only the city, no car is needed, the public transport is well developed and no expensive too. The accommodation was spacious for 3 people, if you want you could cook without any issue (supermarket very close to the flat too.)

The only negative point (not the flat issue or host) is the noise.... The flat is next to the bakery so as it is a traditional/artisanal boulangerie, they do start to work very early in the morning so if you have the window open, you can hear noise... You would need to have ear plug with you if you are light sleeper.

Do not stay here if you are into, rats, bad smells and, poor customer service.

The only reason we stayed was because we couldn’t get anywhere else late with a small child.

The check in procedure is terrible and we had to get access via the bakery next door to whom complained to us that that same keeps happening. Good luck on a late evening! The noise of rats during the night fighting in the courtyard wasn’t great and the fact that the toilet smelt so much it made my wife vomit. The host rang us due to us complaining about getting in and he was seemed like he could not care that much and most of the problems were not his fault. Having seen previous complaints that are similar, before he decides to call me a liar, please look at the previous reviews. All we asked for was a slight degree of customer service and were made to feel like it was our problem. We booked for 2 adults and 1 child and he claimed we hadn’t. I asked for a cot which he said no as we had one back in the car a 10 minute walk away. Why would would I have booked for 2 adults and asked for a cot!? The stairs are dangerous and the toilet is through the bedroom, it is explained online. IN FRENCH. We are English and feel that it is false advertisement. We would have been happy to pay the full amount with an apology but got given a list of reasons why it was our fault. I look forward to you telling me I am a liar too.

Worth noting that the climb to the apartment is via a very old, narrow and uneven spiral staircase which I wouldn't want to do with children younger than mine - or anyone a bit unstable.

Great place for visiting Nantes

Excellent location and easy check-in/out. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner was really responsive and helpful as needed.

Toilet/Drain smelled a bit unpleasant but was somewhat covered by air freshener. Checking out on Sat AM was really not nice though due to the rubbish bins blocking the stairway and the area being hosed down. Moreover, the guy doing it refused to move the bins for my wife and kids to pass with all their luggage and insisted on them squeezing by which resulted in my son slipping on the wet flagstones and falling in dirty rubbish water from the bins.

Notre séjour à l'appartement "La Grue Jaune" fut une réussite totale. La qualité et la propreté de l'établissement sont remarquables, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la literie très confortable, essentielle pour bien se reposer. L'appartement est également très pratique pour 5 personnes. Concernant la logistique, la récupération des clés est extrêmement simple grâce au système de boîte à code sécurisé. De plus, nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement la propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et sa flexibilité, car elle nous a permis de récupérer les clés dès 12h00, alors que nous étions arrivés tôt à Nantes, ce qui a été un grand confort. Enfin, l'emplacement est absolument idéal en plein centre de Nantes. Étant donné que ma fille est étudiante à Polytech Nantes, cet appartement deviendra notre point de chute privilégié et nous avons l'intention d'y retourner à chaque vacance

PORTAL Y ESCALERAS PARECEN DE UN EDIFICIO ABANDONADO, DAN MIEDO Y NO SON ACCESIBLES !!!!!!

Nada, solo que está bien situado.

Las escaleras son imposibles de subir con maletas, niños y para personas que no sean jóvenes, son en caracol muy muy empinadas, además estaban MUY MUY SUCIAS Y LLENAS DE TRAMPAS PARA RATAS Y RATONES (tanto las escaleras como el portal). NO SE LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE. Además, no pude entrar la primera noche a dormir, YO LLEGUÉ TARDE QUIERO DEJARLO CLARO, pero en ningún momento me dijeron que el sistema para entrar se desactivaba a las 00 de la noche, evidentemente no respondieron cuando llegue a mi llamada ni a mis mensajes (no digo que tuvieran que hacerlo ya que no eran horas de atender a nadie), PERO DEBERÍAN HABER AVISADO QUE EL SISTEMA SE DESACTIVABA Y QUE NO PODRÍA ENTRAR. Al día siguiente me dijeron que volvía a estar activado, cuando llegué SEGUÍA SIN FUNCIONAR. Volví a llamar, me atendieron en el momento y lo habilitaron. Evidentemente no volvería ni aunque me lo regalaran.

El portal y las escaleras son muy, muy antiguos, no hay ascensor. No hay almohadas, solo cojines y tampoco colchas, nosotros nos apañamos con las fundas de los nórdicos. En la habitación del fondo hay mucho olor a humedad. Es un alojamiento para dormir y desayunar, nada más. No sé puede pedir más por el precio que tiene dada su ubicación, pero si valoras mucho la comodidad y eres muy estricto con la limpieza este no es tu sitio

Emplacement hyper centre, vous sortez de l’immeuble tout est accessible en quelques minutes. L’appartement est au calme donnant sur la cours intérieur . Les hôtes sont flexibles et aidant. L’équipement est suffisant pour accueillir une famille.

Al principio fue todo muy agradable hasta el final de mi estancia cuando el administrador me ha dejado unos mensajes irrespetuosos.

El radiador presentaba golpes a mi llegada al cual pensé que ya se encontraba así. Al final de mi estancia me escriben y me dicen que el radiador de calefacción no se encontraba así y que debo pagar. Por lo que he reaccionado mal porque no pienso pagar por daños que otras personas hicieron
