Chalet Safari. Face au Mont-Blanc.

Our stay at Chalet Safari couldn't have been better. The Host Jean Claude was so welcoming and hospitable. The Chalet is beautiful with an incredible view of the Alps and it was really neat to learn about the family history behind the house.

I booked Chalet Safari for our two families, eight of us in total, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen better. From the moment we arrived in Chamonix, it felt like we’d discovered a hidden gem. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of everything, yet incredibly peaceful. We could walk everywhere, lifts, cafés and shops, but when we stepped back into the chalet it was calm, quiet and completely relaxing. It’s such a rare combination. What really struck me was how much space there was for everyone. With two families of four, I half expected it to feel a little crowded, but it was the opposite. The layout is so well thought out that everyone had their own space to unwind. The kids could hang out together, the adults could relax separately, and no one ever felt on top of each other. It made the whole week feel effortless. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, the kind you sink into after a full day on the mountain and instantly relax. Every single one of us commented on how well we slept, which says a lot with four kids involved. It genuinely felt like hotel level comfort but with all the warmth of a private home. We also loved the big garage with the ski store and boot warmers for everyone. It made such a difference having all the equipment neatly stored and warm each morning. There was parking for two large cars as well, which made loading and unloading so easy. With eight of us and plenty of gear, that practical setup made the start and end of each day completely stress free. And the sauna, wow. After skiing, stepping into that beautiful, perfectly designed sauna was just heaven. It became part of our daily ritual, ski, hot chocolate, sauna, repeat. It added such a luxurious touch to the whole experience. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was Jean Claude. His hospitality is on another level. He was welcoming, thoughtful and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive.

Lovely place with wonderful and helpful owner. Great location and unbelievable views! Walk into town for food and shopping. Easy walk to buses or straight to Brévent lift.

Great place to stay—clean, spacious, and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay again.
