Utopia Hotel Baku

The location was excellent in the heart of the old town, it was only a few minutes walk from the main sites and about 10 mins to the main modern centre of Baku. The staff were so kind, I checked in and the lovely man at the front desk showed me where to go to get some supplies and about the room. I was very glad to have air-conditioning as well. The breakfast was freshly made individually each morning and it was great!

The exceptional manager, Anvar, deserves the highest praise. During my five night stay at Utopia Hotel in Baku's Old Town, Anvar attended to my every need with professionalism and a warm hearted courtesy that I will never forget. When I needed a train ticket, Anvar actually accompanied me to the train station. When I requested a late breakfast, he graciously offered me a generous plate. And when I inquired about a room change, this fine gentleman actually upgraded me to a larger, brighter abode. As a world traveler, I cannot express how nourishing it is to be treated with such grand hospitality. Not only is Utopia Hotel a gem in the Old Town, but Anvar is a shining example of Azerbaijani hospitality. Wishing all of the wonderful staff at Utopia Hotel a life full of peace, happiness and enchantment!

Everything was exceptional!

The hotel is in a very good place, in the hearth of the old city. Very easiy to find sights and good restaurants in walking distance. From the rooftop there is a nice view for most of the important sights of the city.

It was very always very noisy, becuse the whole hotel basically one space, you can here everything if anyone speaking a little loudly. The breakfast is very late, from 9.00-11.00 only.
