A lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. A perfect place to come back to and sit in front of the log burner after a day spent walking in the countryside. Thank you for hosting us a Sausage Cottage, we will be back.
Nothing not to like really. The roads around Oakford are single lane with few parking spaces, but that is the West Country.
The front bedroom only has a small plug in heater, but it was not cold as there is ample heating in the rest of the house, a log burner, and the beds have thick duvets and blankets.

Situated in a pretty village just opposite a farm and close to the lovely local pub. The cottage offered plenty of space for our family holiday (seven adults plus dog). The kitchen was very well equipped and there was ample provision of china, cutlery and glasses - useful when dishwasher on! The conservatory was a great space to spend time together.

Quirky, characterful and fun. Very near great pub. Good accommodation for up to 8 people without sofa beds, sleeping in living rooms or mezzanines.
Cold when we arrived, and heating system is about what you'd expect from a rural cottage. You need to be able to light a fire. Buy cosy once it all got going. Parking less than perfect but worked out ok for us. Don't bring 4 big cars!
