LE CHEVAL
Push back the glass wall at Le Cheval and the polo grounds open out from the back garden — match at three. Four bedrooms sleep eight in a two-story modern villa fronting the polo field in El Polo, with an included cook handling the meals. The fit: a family with kids who'll spend the day between the climbing fort and the pool, two couples on a long weekend, or a friend group who came for the match and the modern villa over the colonial estate.
Mornings start at the picnic table, kids already on the climbing fort. The match is at three. The family pulls chairs to the bottom of the garden, drinks in hand, every guest looking the same direction at once. The pool sits to the side with parasols for the off-match days. By sundown the family eats at the long outdoor table, with festoon lights overhead.
Le Cheval sits in El Polo, beside the Equestrian Center. Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards — and The Links are a short ride up the road for the round, and Minitas Beach Club is a short ride the other way for the beach day when polo is dark. Altos de Chavón is a short drive up the cliff for the evening above the river. Book Le Cheval when the trip is built around the polo and the family side of the resort, not a sprawling estate where the polo is the side trip.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS
All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:
• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)
• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)
• Complimentary for children under 4 years old
Resort fee provides access to:
• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.
• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.
• Health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.
FOOD BUDGET: If your villa comes staffed, we suggest as a rough guideline to budget $50-$60 per adult per day for grocery costs if eating three meals at the villa (not including alcohol). This, of course, can vary due to your dietary requests. The Marina has a well-stocked supermarket with groceries, alcohol, and a wide selection of other products (sunscreen, hygiene products etc)

We had a wonderful week long stay at the villa!Our family had six guests and the villa was luxurious, quiet and relaxing. The staff and the level of care and service was outstanding. WiFi is excellent. Beautiful pool, terrace and backyard with views of the sunrise and polo fields. I would highly recommend this villa. We will be back for sure! Thank you!!
