This house is nice and big, perfect for our family of 6. Communication with owners was prompt and they helped us out with some weather related problems. The kids had a great time!

Right on the river, very roomy and clean. We’ll stocked with cooking utensils and toiletries. Owners easy to contact and responded to a question immediately. Highly recommend if you want a quiet, trout fishing get away.

The house was wonderful. The river was low so the walk to the dock was a fun experience but that is to be expected. My sons enjoyed fishing and wading in the river. It’s about a 22 minute drive to Heber Spring so we were able to get some hiking in also. Great place to get away too.

I couldn’t recommend this property enough. There was a collection of everything you might extra. Extra chargers, pillows, blankets, and the house was clean and perfectly organized. It’s spacious, with enough beds for everyone you might need and then some. Even the dock was perfect, and I enjoyed the fishing. 10/10, I hope to stay at this property again.

We recently stayed there with 8 people ranging from 7-71 yrs old. Everything was comfortable and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed. Everyone had great time and kids loved catching lightning bugs at night and playing the games. Would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to this area.

We had a great time, very peaceful lots and lots of wild birds. Barred owls nesting right acrost the river from the cabin. Fishing was OK, secret weapon for the trout was perch colored rattle traps. Very relaxing week with great hosts.

My family and I stayed for Spring Break. Unfortunately, the river was too high to enjoy the property to its fullest, however it is a great location and under better circumstances it would perfect. My one complaint is that maintenance and lawn care showed up unexpectedly needing access to the property.

We enjoyed this place so much! The backyard and deck with a perfect view of the river was incredibly peaceful. The boys caught tons of trout and loved fishing from the dock. The house was stocked with everything we could ever need including a first aid kit that came in handy! We enjoyed all the games provided as well. The fire pit was even stocked with kindling and firewood. The grill was perfect and had propane provided. I cannot recommend this place enough!

A group of fathers and adult sons used the cabin for a few days for a fishing trip. The cabin is both spacious and clean. The fishing was good from the dock, board games were provided, and TV’s had Rokus for streaming. Great cabin for the price!

We just stayed 1 night on a trip between St Louis and Texas. This area is lovely…filled with trees and fun to drive roads. The house was a great reprieve, even for just two of us. Very cool living area with lots of seating and eating places with screened in porch overlooking the river. We had a quick stay but enjoyed it very much. The check in instructions could not have been easier.

The place was right on the river! On the hot days, you can sit on the dock above the 50 degree water and be cool even in the sunshine! In the evenings you can sit on the back porch and listen to the fish jumping! You couldn't ask for a more peaceful place to relax! We enjoyed every minute and hated to leave! It was the most stocked vacation rental we have ever been to and was in a peaceful quiet setting! Just what we needed to enjoy family for a long weekend getaway. 100% recommend!

Everyone is extra nice and helpful everywhere here. Floating and kayaking down river was fun and did catch some trout. Fireworks display was best I have ever seen in Pangburn and the fair was invited to play volleyball and enjoyed the music from band as well the wife enjoyed the shops in Heber springs. Even won a charcoal pit at the fair. Arkansas is beautiful state and this cabin location and neighbors helps you appreciate what life and neighbors should be and used to be in the 70s. Also met a friend that I havent seen in 43 years, Thanks Again Mr. and Mrs Elliot for all.

Plenty of places to sleep, for the most part beds comfortable, patio and view is awesome, dock outside to sit and enjoy nature sounds and look at the beautiful river is very enjoyable, and lots of different birds and sounds I loved. I wanted to kayak but currents look too strong and I don’t know the area well enough. Too chilly to swim and can’t swim in back, I wouldn’t recommend it due to reading about the river currents and possible undertow. This is a cabin/house in a lakeside neighborhood. Neighbors are quiet. If you like to drink alcohol I would highly recommend you stop in Calbot to grab something otherwise the local town doesn’t sell it. They are a “dry county.” You will have to drive 45 minutes out to grab alcohol. You are about 25 minutes out from all the decent trails to go to including Bridal Veil Falls. Restaurants in Heber Springs about 25-30 minutes out is recommended for decent food. Overall, this is a good place to unwind and get off the grid a bit.

The guys came for the fishing, the girls came for the screened-in porch! This was the PERFECT weekend stay! Easy check in, EVERYTHING we could have needed, beautiful view outside back porch. No one’s fault, but the rain caused them to release water from the dam, and the “quiet little river” was anything but! No fish were caught, but 20 minutes away was a Walmart that sold hamburger (first night) and chicken (second night) and we put the gas grill to good use! We ALL agreed we want to come again!
