Das von einer zauberhaften Madame bereitgestellte Zimmer in einem wunderschönen Landhaus in Reillanne ist schlicht umwerfend. Das Zimmer außergewöhnlich , der Pool großartig, der Ort Reillanne entzückend, die Gastgeberschaft vorbildlich, in jeder Hinsicht ein beglückender Aufenthalt! Absolute Empfehlung!

The property itself if beautiful. We were told that it was a 16th century home and there is a lot of historic charm and elegance. The pool and patio are beautiful as well, and the surrounding landscape, lavender field and views to Reillanne, the nearby village, are all very nice. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable and nicely appointed, a huge, comfortable bed and nice shower, good pressure, etc. The air condition worked really well and this was great since we experienced a heat wave during those days. The pool was a nice temperature and clean. The breakfast was ok, and our attendant was pleasant and responsive. Reillanne is a nice town/village a very short walk away (we had a car but it's a lot easier to walk there) and it was convenient to grab dinner or lunch if we were staying around for the day. There is a fantastic little market on Sundays with fresh produce, artisanal wares, local fare, etc. and not over-crowded. The village appeared to be very family oriented and a good mix of locals and tourists.

We were expecting a bed and breakfast in the traditional sense, with an actual host that lives on property and for it to feel like we are someone's guests. Instead, there is an attending lady, very nice but quite removed. She was there to deliver our breakfast and she went straight down to the bottom floor of the house to work. We had to find her to ask for a second cup of coffee, or to refill the coffee pods etc in the room, or to empty the garbage in our room. No one came to clean our rooms daily which is quite standard for B&Bs. All around the property are signs not to go here and not to go there. This is a strange feeling when you are left on your own, like an air b and b, but without the freedom of the property, use of a kitchen etc. It's neither one, nor the other. We were told right away, no eating or drinking by the pool. No drinks? No light snacks like chips? There are cameras everywhere and this also added to that strange feeling of being restricted and surveilled. There is an emptiness, a hollowness in the experience. The breakfast area could use a lot of improvement, it has potential to be very pleasant but the table is so tiny you have to keep moving things around to accommodate for 2 people. Inside the house, the smell of grey water was always there but was better in the room itself, thankfully. Finally, the flies inside the house were out of hand. I mentioned it to the lady and the next day she brought spray, which was nice of her.

Location of the property was close to the plaza. Parking was available. The property overlook a lavender field and The Hills of Provence. I also really liked the pool and the wonderful view from the pool overlooking hillside. The room was spacious and clean. We had tons of privacy since we were the only ones there. Although there was a breeze the air-conditioning really helped with the airflow.
