Mohammad and Sakina are excellent hosts, warm, friendly and helpful, it’s a great property with nice staff and friendly guests, there a kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry facilities and only 6 minutes to the heart of Georgetown on a moped.

My room had a huge balcony. Bathroom was big and it was kept clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I could have a couple of days to relax and sleep a lot!
I think it’s not the best option for international travelers. I was expecting a little bit more of social life but I mainly saw local people (everyone was nice but it was definitely not a hostel vibe). The location is ok but a little bit far from the centre of George Town (40 minutes walk). Nearest 7/11 is 10/15m walk. People long term was always cooking in the kitchen 🫠 I reckon it’s a good choice if you need to be next to the hospital but not for touristic areas.

good location: walking distance to penang general hospital and island hospital.
very clean. the bed, pillows and blanket were clean and good.
has water dispenser on ground floor.
elevator to bring luggage up the floor.
design of the homestay is modern. everything looks new.
the security measures are not bad.
there are 3 floors. the toilet on my floor is shared between 5-6 rooms. only 2 shower stalls and 1 commode. have to bring a basket to fit all bathing things.
the walls are thin. so can hear sounds echoing through the hall and between rooms.
the room is a bedroom. two twin beds and a dresser. tv in the room. dust bin. no table or chairs.
not allowed to eat in the room.
