Truly blissful break

Love it here the pure peace and tranquility is second to none, having the hot tub and log fire at your disposal really makes it a luxury get away. Lovely touch being left a sticky toffee pud and a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge upon arrival. The Swaredale Lodge was absolutely perfect very modern had everything we needed and more we just wish we could have stayed forever.

Amazing lodge in superb location

Fabulous location and beautiful lodge... we loved it there! The hot tub was superb also. Its within walking distance of Cartmel ... so easy to find too!

Nothing... its not cheap at £750 for a weekend- but its worth every penny - we would return for sure

Very peaceful great area not as private as expected

Very peaceful apart from the hot tub guy who randomly turns up unexpectedly but according to him he doesn’t need permission so privacy isn’t guaranteed but the venders lodge we stayed in was enjoyable and relaxing apart from the hot tub guy

Hot tub guy was a bit unexpected a knock on the door would have been a little more polite especially when women are around sunbathing and could be in the hot tub but the hot tub guy doesn’t need permission according to him

Good size lodge, great facilities that were well looked after. Quiet location. Good bathroom. Hot tub great.

Fabulous stay. Peaceful and quiet.

Peaceful and quiet space to escape busy lives at home. Very homely which made it easy to relax on entry. Everything we could need in regards to kitchen appliances. Bed and couch was very comfy. The hot tub was also great after a long hike in the surrounding countryside. Lovely stay. Would recommend.

Checking in late afternoon which meant you don’t get much of a first day in the lodge. Early checkout with cleaning requests meant your last morning wasn’t so relaxing. I would say if it’s a requirement to clean the entire lodge before leaving some cleaning products provided would have been great. Other then that fab stay.
