About this house rental
Tucked away on 4 acres of beautiful wooded land, we have a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Come enjoy our private home near Long Lake in Bridgton (5 min walk). There is a sandy beach with a shallow walk-in that is great for the kids! Enjoy hiking, fishing, skiing, boating, snowmobiling! Lots of parking and plenty of beds to sleep the entire family. We are 8 miles from Shawnee Peak for skiing or hiking and have direct access to ITS89 for snowmobiling. We are 40 minutes from North Conway, NH. Enjoy the drive-in theatre 10 mins away or just relax next to a campfire with the family! This place has it all!

We had a wonderful but short trip to Bridgton after a longer one to Acadia National Park. It was a wonderfully appointed, clean and comfortable place to relax. Bedrooms were the key w having a good combo of queen and twin to best accommodate full families w parents and kids. Kitchen had more than ample supplies, this was perfect as our oldest son is a chef now after 15 years as a software engineer. Local fishmonger was a plus! The huge sofa in the living area was perfect place to hang w all having a comfortable spot! Chess set in the porch area was fun for the kids! Downstairs had a ping pong table and air hockey as well as washer/dryer and all the extras you may need as beach towels, chairs, wagons, coolers, etc Extra touches as coffee, wine and snacks were lovely and appreciated ! Ken was responsive to all our questions and concerns. I felt well cared for! We enjoyed the location and visited local attractions as Moose Cave, Pondicherry Park and a hidden gem, The Maine Gem and Mineral Museum! Def recommend this cabin for a family gathering!

We were so impressed with Ken and Kathleen’s wonderful home. It was clean, inviting, accommodating, and set in a super convenient location.
Ken was an excellent communicator and very involved in making sure that we had everything we needed to ensure a wonderful stay. Although I have been vacationing in that area for years, Ken gave us suggestions of different activities and new fun places to try with my family.
We were so happy with our time there and felt that Ken and Kathleen were superb hosts. We will definitely be staying there again!

We have plenty of VRBO experience, and this was the best of all! Ken and Kathleen are fantastic hosts, very communicative, and I can tell a ton of fun! The cabin is even better than the pics. The layout is perfect for a group and plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need (my chef son who lives there was impressed!), and a great outdoor gas grill. Comfy beds, and lots of towels. Even a treasure trove of beach towels in the basement!
We highly recommend Ken and Kathleen’s cabin in the woods. A+++!!!

Looking for that home away from home feel, and a place to unwind? Look no further. We have now stayed here twice and I must say that I have nothing but good things to say about this home and it’s owners Ken and Kathleen.
