Private 4 Bedroom Home in South Tampa!

I was there with my coaching staff for a rowing clinic at TAC

We travelled to Tampa with 7 people (3 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 young children) for a family vacation. The property has 3 good size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an open kitchen/dining room/living room, and a separate games room. Check in and check out were very smooth, and our one small problem with the door lock was resolved within 5 minutes due excellent service from our host. The space was very functional for what we needed and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. My one suggestion is to have more bathroom/kitchen/laundry supplies available for guests, as it can be frustrating to purchase additional toilet paper/paper towel/garbage bags while on vacation. The kitchen could also use additional supplies to help with cooking meals. All in all a very pleasant experience though.

For 6 of us, the house and amenities were just the right size. Everything worked great. It is an urban location but wasn’t a busy street due to the “speed tables”. We definitely heard the rush hour traffic on the weekday mornings and the train horn every once in a while. As an old house, it has the smaller bathrooms and some doors that didn’t shut well or squeaked, but that didn’t bother us.

Communication with the owner and getting access to the place was spot on. Also, the game room is a really nice feature, which we used a lot. The kitchen is also a plus as far as being nice and roomy (we made Thanksgiving dinner there). Opportunities for improvement include having more horizontal surfaces to put things on, particularly in the bedrooms and bathrooms (a few shelves and/or small table, for example). Also, bathrooms are very small, lacking in counter space and could use exhaust fans. So, pretty good place with potential.
