Bike (not provided) to the Fort Point Lighthouse from the house. 1 mile to Stockton Springs Harbor with SUP and kayak rentals and a chill restaurant on the Stockton Harbor. Sandy Beach 10 minutes away for swimming and beach walking. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park is 50 minutes away by car. This is a perfect location to experience Maine!

Fantastic place. Plenty of room for the three of us. Good distance to both head back down the coast to explore as well as heading over to Acadia. Having the water outside the living room window was very peaceful. Several places to eat nearby or can drive 20 minutes to head into Belfast. Amazing pictures just on our phones of the stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little slice of heaven in Maine. It is away from the typical tourist spots but most everything can be reached within an hours drive, including Acadia. While the house doesn’t have central A/C, all rooms cooled off at night and the unit in the downstairs living room kept it cool. Plan to pick up fresh seafood/ lobster and cook at home one evening, the sunset view is stunning and the grill works well too! The owner was easy to work with and responsive, I would recommend this home for an extended family or friends traveling together.

Very pretty traditional Maine cottage. Beautiful views of the bay and lupins growingb in the yard loved drinking coffee on the front porch. The master bedroom was so pretty with lots of windows to let the sea air in at night.
