The amount of space for the price was amazing. Yes, you can hear people upstairs, per the other reviews. It did not bother me. Easily accessible to Thorton Gap Entrance to Skyline Drive (approx 23 miles). Private & clean. I was able to communicate with host through the app, who was professional about the entire experience, which I totally appreciate. The beds were comfortable, and I slept well. Coffee available. Microwave, small fridge, fresh towels and other small amenities. I would highly recommend this property while visiting the Shenandoah area.
Its asking what I didn't like. I can't say one negative thing about the place, everything exceeded my expectations.

Friendly owner, nice location, specious rooms, availability of Microwave, high chair for babies.
Unavailable amenities and facilities, such as a bathtub and hairdryer, could be clearly indicated on the website. The $30 cleaning fee, which is charged upon finalizing the reservation, could be included in the initial pricing for transparency. The towels which seemed old could be renewed. Water could be served in small bottles, either instead of or in addition to the 5-gallon water dispenser, as water in large bottles can become stale if not consumed frequently. The footsteps of the owner living upstairs could be bothersome.
