Spacious, clean bright apartment with balcony.

Spacious comfortable apartment with great balcony. Very considered. Super clean and a well stocked kitchen. Good AC in main space which cools the whole apartment with a little time, and a fan for the bedroom too. View of mountains from balcony - and a tiny bit of sea! Host was amazing as we booked extremely last minute as our original place was cancelled. Extremely responsive, has recommendations. Fantastic communication! It's a ten minute walk from old town. Busy road outside but quiet most of the day. Coffee place next door and lots of local bakeries - all a little away from the main area so more relaxed feeling. Great access to bus routes and port and nicely away from the old town business without being far. If you want to be right in the old town this would be a little outside...

The main door to the building is a little tricky to open..my advice is persevere - it does work - it just takes some trial and error! Host knows this and very understanding but explained it is obviously hard to get permission to change a lock for a whole apartment block. Not a problem as such, but something to not worry about when it doesn't work straight away - you will get in ☺️

Sehr schöne, gemütliche, blitzsaubere und großzügig geschnittene Wohnung mit allem Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. Perfekte Ausstattung: Waschmaschine, Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Wäscheständer, Kleiderbügel, Fön, Klimaanlage, Heizungen in allen Räumen und genügend Lampen und Steckdosen. Von all den Kleinigkeiten, die man mitunter nachkaufen muss, war ausreichend Vorrat vorhanden (Toilettenpapier, Seife, Spülmittel, Spülschwamm, Küchenpapier, Müllbeutel) ebenso genügend Handtücher, Geschirrtücher, Decken und Kissen. Jelena ist ein zauberhafter mehrsprachiger Host (sogar deutsch), immer erreichbar und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Die Wohnung liegt etwa 1 km von der Plateia Sarokou (Saroko-Platz) entfernt, wo Busse zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und in die benachbarten Küstenorte fahren und wo eine schöne Fußgängerzone beginnt, an die sich die Altstadt anschließt. Man kann sich die gesamte Stadt erlaufen, sollte aber gut zu Fuß sein. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem untouristischen Stadtteil an einer nicht so schönen Hauptstraße, liegt aber weit nach hinten raus und bietet einen schönen Blick auf die Nachbarschaft, ein Stückchen Meer und die dahinterliegenden Berge. Direkt neben der Wohnung befinden sich zwei Imbiss-Restaurants, ein Coffeeshop, eine Apotheke und eine Konditorei. Wir wohnten mitten unter Griechen, so wie es uns gefällt. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
