This newly renovated stately house has it all - location, upscale furnishings, loaded with flat screens, killer pool, and room for everyone.
Poseidon's Palace is a 3-level home that has gorgeous decor, including new top-of-the-line mattresses, new flooring, new furniture, and fresh paint. All five bedrooms have flat screens - the master has a 60', the other king bedrooms have 40', the kid's bunk room has a 32' with a PS3. There are flat screens in the living room and the game room, which also has a private balcony, wet bar and music tower for iPods or iPads.
Poseidon's Palace has a Blu-ray or DVD in every room that has a TV. No chance of anyone being bored here!
The master is located on the second floor and has a private bath, XL garden tub, and private balcony. There are 3 more bedrooms with king-sized beds (one located on the first floor), and the fifth bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress and twin sized bed.
The kitchen is amazing - well-appointed with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and auto-closing cabinets. There's a 4-burner high-end gas grill on the private patio.
Poseidon's Palace also has a full-sized laundry room with a washer and dryer, two parking spots in the driveway, as well as plenty of overflow parking lot.

Villages of Crystal Beach is an exclusive, gated community only a few blocks from the beautiful blue waters and white sandy beaches of Destin. You can make the walk on foot or hop on the free seasonal trolley service (Memorial Day through Labor Day): they will even pick you up at the house and drop you off right at the beach! The pool area at Villages of Crystal Beach is a vacation must! The lagoon style zero entry pool is 30,000 square feet of gorgeous, sparkling clear water. There is a spa, tropical landscaping, and plenty of seating areas. It also has surround sound, a flat screen TV, and a grilling area to help you relax and unwind.
Please note that there are parking restrictions within the Villages of Crystal Beach. There are three parking spaces available in the driveway of the home. Trailers, RV's, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are not allowed within the community gates; alternate parking arrangements will need to be made for these items.
Area Attractions:
It's a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Walk the short walk to the beach, or hop on the free, seasonal trolley. Nearby are 6 miles of paved trails - perfect for both walking and biking.
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

It was a good house. Very roomy. Close to everything. Walking distance to beach, pool right around the corner.pool area was clean. Quite. I understand not providing personal care items but..a house for 16 people, 4 bathrooms and all you provide is 4 rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher detergent, liquid dish soap. I am on vacation I don't want to hand wash dishes..yes they tell you they provide bare minimum but with all the fees I personally think some things should be adequately provided for. Overall this is a nice place. ay.

Overall, it was a great trip. The house needs a little updating in some areas, but it wasn’t too bad. Housekeeping could do a better job at cleaning. The pool area is nice.

Overall the stay was good. The toilet on the second floor (bedroom w/balcony) does runs after flushing will stop once you jiggle the handle. We did killed a few roaches and had a sighting of a bed bug the day of our departure. I reported it after leaving the property and probably should have sooner as they determined no findings but I have no reason to lie. There were no issues with the property itself as far as size and rooms as it was a total of 14 that stayed and we were comfortable. Just recommend after each stay possibly spray for bugs…I understand the climate/location in which I am in but I felt one bug was too many let alone the amount we killed within living quarters.
