Zion White Bison Glamping & RV Resort

We wanted our families' Utah National Park vacation to feel like camping but have some comfort amenities (i.e Glamping) and this fun Wagon stay met our expectations. We stayed in a wagon that had two beds, which met our needs for 2 adults and 2 kids. We booked the wagon that had the outdoor kitchen and firepit. Not all the stays on site have this, so make sure you look and read closely when you book. The kitchen and firepit were such fun! We were in the COLT 44 wagon, which also sat facing the decorative pond on site. On booking.com, it said we booked "apartment 21", but upon check-in, the property itself put us in "#26". Again, it was the bed accommodation set up I booked and had the kitchen and firepit, but it might be worth double checking with the property. For our family of 4, it was perfect for a 2-night stay. They did have paid laundry near the site, by the pool and pickleball courts, which was nice. You do have to share that facility with the RV residents. The inside of the wagon was cute and the shower was actually quite large. The A/c and heat worked great. There was servicing to the rooms daily, with extra K-cups for coffee, towels, trash etc.

It poured rain the 2 days that we were there. During the pauses in rain, we needed to use the outdoor kitchen and the Adirondack chairs to eat. It was the main reason we paid up for the kitchen, but we had to end up using our own lap blanket to wipe down the rain off the chairs. For a property like this, it would have been nice for the facility staff to provide some sort of clothes/towels/ rags for guests to wipe down outdoor chairs. In other stays similar to this, they also provide a wet mat/shoe mat for inside the stay. Unfortunately, we had to come into the wagon with soaking wet shoes and it got the inside of the wagon all wet. Also, a few more hooks inside the wagon would be nice for hanging clothes and towels, esp with 4 guests in one room. Also, it would have been helpful to have a power strip accessible by the beds. Neither bed had access to plug in electronics and we had to plug our phone in on the plugs over by the floor.

The covered wagons, cooking area and external facilities were clean, comfortable and one of a kind. Quite possibly the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on as well. The hot tub and fire pit were the icing on the cake, perfect for those clear nights when you want to relax in the elements. The outdoor cooking area was such a treat being able to cook your own food was more than welcome after staying in various hotels with no cooking area and being cohered into eating processed or fast food.

We arrived in the dark and took me a while to find the area for wagons. Direction sign with light is recommended!

It was quaint, unique, and had a great view. Even though we didn't have a unit with a cookout station, I thought that was very cool. I also liked the sound of the wind rustling on the canvas.

We couldn't figure out the ac unit and nearly froze to death. Plus we couldn't figure out how to turn off the tv. The last thing that I would say is that the shower experience left a little to be desired.
